Dont worry. We will find our next center bagging groceries somewhere. I here Walmart has a good crop this year. Diamonds in the rough. It's not like the center position in Shanys offense is important or anything. Over rated position.
When the philosophy is hands on balls you got laugh. .
Nope. Need a guy in the top 50 please. Who are you selecting?
All the Cs (even the top ones) are all projected to go in the 3rd and 4th round. He's obviously clueless
So arrogant. I didnt know we are in the presence of a draft guru with a crystal ball. Should we bend the knee.
If you pay attention to my comments they are not specific to the 2025 draft. I It's about the on going philosophy and the lack of resources on the OL. How we upgrade at center and other OL positions ....I dont really care just get better and stop ignoring it.
You said the team was waiting until day 3 expecting different results so I'm truly interested in what they can do right now, in this draft about the problem. The year is 2025 in case you get lost trying to answer.
I am not lost on the fact 2024 was a great year for OL.
When I say day 3 that means 7th round and UDFA when comes to how the 49ers draft OL. That is an exaggeration by the way.
51 pick is in the second round.
We get all that. We also know they missed the boat in 2024. It's 2025 now. You said they are trying to same thing expecting a different result. Given the situation in this draft class, what can they actually do? Are you going to supply a name of a center they can draft that would represent a deviation from previous strategies that have not worked?
Let me be clear. Draft or FA....I dont care. Put some resources into the OL which includes Center. BTW, I never said let's draft a center day one. The comment was responding to how we resources the entire OL in the draft.
It's very convenient. If they draft a guy in round 4-7 (day 3), you get to talk about how the team is doing the same old, yet when asked to present an alternative (like an actual name), you fail to do so.
It would be different if you said, they need a center, but this class is blah, not sure what they can do. Instead you brought up what's happened in the past as an indicator of their neglect, so if they happen to do the same this year, you can keep going with the whole they are doing the same thing expecting different results narrative.
