Did you happen to look at Mahomes' OL?

Also I saw an Eagles OL that was giving Jalen a ton of time to find open guys. He made a couple of good quick throws as his WRs(who can beat press) got separation.

So yes, I would say this SB is a great reminder that the trenches, which does include OL play are key building blocks for a good roster.

Before this game, fans on here were raving about Mahomo's offensive line and his "Pro Bowl" center and guards.

What happened is Vic Fangio schemed the coverages effectively against Reid's route combinations, and Stat Paddy Mahomo resorted to running around like a headless chicken in response.

I'm still not sure why KC decided to keep Thuney at LT when the talent of that Eagles DL was more inside.

Pressure and coverage will always lead to great results. Hard thing to produce on the field tho, kudos to the Eagles for getting it done. Also didn't hurt that KC played one of their sloppiest games in the postseason since I can remember. Key drops, bad and ill timed penalties...wish they saved some of that for our games.
The Eagles are sitting on a ton of rookie contracts with rising stars due to stellar drafting. The highest paid position on their team is QB at I think they said $21m to $24m. Many others rookie contracts.

They are young with incredible draft picks panning out. I hate them so much but it is not Detroit or Greenbay, it is the Eagles and whoever asked in our current state Brock would have been totally destroyed yesterday just like Mahomes. Their OL average height 6.6 and 350lbs plus. And young!

CMC may have been contained a bit as they did yesterday. Brock great. We need these lines revamped ASAP.

The eagles also stayed insanely healthy this year, really on both sides of the ball

When the niners stayed healthy like that, we also made the sb.

Excellent call!
Super Bowl winning center that replaced HOF Kelce and on one of the best Olines in the game:

Kyle will use this reasoning when he brings back Brendel.

He won't considering he watched the tape where Brendel was getting consistently worked and killing plays left and right.

Those numbers include postseason for Jurgens when he played banged up. Obviously Brendel who somehow had good grades his last two games vs a injured Lions team and so so Arizona dl was still worse for the regular season alone and virtually all season he was one of the worst graded centers in the league. Those last two games pushed him from total garbage into just bad.

I would be shocked if the 49ers didn't look at a center in FA. Hopefully Dalman doesn't get extended by Atlanta. I would think they make a big push for him. Him or Ryan Kelly would be my favorites.
This guy has been brought up before by ATT iirc. His market value isn't high and could be a cheap option at the center position.

7.7mil per year.

Had SF drafting Jurgens in my final mock that draft

He held his own pretty well against the eagles. His health for 4 season was pretty reliable up until he got hurt late in the 4th qtr in the playoffs
