The issue is we don't have a OL coach who bangs his fists on the table asking for more help. Now if we have a great OL coach who can develop, sure that's great. This is why I wanted ex coke head Chris gone as well. He doesn't develop these late round picks well. The Eagles have a guy that's bar none best in the business, they've taken multiple late round guys over the years, even UDFAs, and made them into All Pros or Pro Bowlers.
So unless you have that kind of a coach, we need to draft more of them in early rounds. I understand the concept of keeping 4-5 guys who are always good is impossible without a constant turnaround. Because you can't pay 3-4 OL on your team top money. Good/Great Ts go for 25-30 mil a year. Gs/Cs 15-20 a mil year, so you can't sustain a competitive roster if you have to pay a 3rd of your salary cap just for OL. It's a position that you can scheme around, find the right fit for your scheme, but talent is still gonna win at the end of the day, unless you have an amazing OL coach which we don't.

at least the guys who touched the ball the last three years was enough to go deep in the playoffs
I rather load up on OL in FA with a guy who has been through it already.
This year may be an anomaly though, Membou looks like a sure thing if he can last to 11

Can't coach a good O-line. Can't evaluate talent. Can't develop O-linemen.
Can this guy be any more useless?

Our coaching staff seems to like this guy a lot, is it because of his game or because of his contract?
