They made a mistake in the design -- they should have originally placed the home field locker room on the shady side.
Going back to my original post of which you questioned...They rushed this POS stadium. Remember the locker room/sideline debacle?
Right...only took 2 decades to get the thing done.
"rushed".
Get that BS outta here.
It was hot in the building in the hottest summer in years. Shocker.
Its warmer than at Candlestick that is known as one of the coldest areas of the Bay Area for most of the year. Shocker.
Home Locker room was build where it is because that side is closer to the 49ers HQ. The idea was to put them on that same sideline. Not a big deal to move it as we see because that's exactly what they did.
Ya may not have noticed, but we are in the middle of a big drought so not really a big surprise that its really hot in August and September.
This was a very expensive stadium. A TON of time was put into the design. A TON of time was put into the planning.
However, no amount of time or planning can account for the hottest summer in a decade or the fact that it's naturally warmer in SC than Hunters Point.
Dude -- why so like that? So serious -- details are always missed -- especially when you 'rush'. They built the home locker room on the wrong side of the field -- it took Harbaugh to figure that out for them.
Man -- were you the construction PM or something ? :P
Home locker room is NOT on the wrong side of the field. Its on the side that is CLOSER to the practice fields and serves as the Locker room YEAR ROUND, not just on gameday.
Its really quite simple. Harbaugh simply asked for the shaded home sideline. That's it. Really not complicated.
