So far he's been a good team mate and sticks up for Kaepernick, and in a very smart low key way. I hope his professionalism won't let him slide but it would't be surprising! About the time he begins quitting on routes Kaepernick will turn it loose!
What happened to Kaep? why such a drop? Is a change of scenerios better for both sides?

This is the twenty million dollar question the staff is struggling with. Have they put him in a position where he isn't at his best? Is he just having adjustment issues trying to stay in the pocket? Six runs for 28 yards today, after zero last week. With no Hyde why did they not try to go with an empty backfield at times and roll CK?

Confidence is a funny thing and when a QB is struggling it can look just terrible!

Edit: Dennis Brown mentioned the good game plan with screens, but that when Bush went down they stopped running those. He doesn't understand why an NFL team can't run a screen pass (implying--with any other RB).

Jim Harbaugh rarely shares too much.

But his father said Wednesday that his San Francisco son shared his intention to draft Colin Kaepernick a day before it happened.

If this is true, after a few seasons harbaugh must've realized he was a terrible qb and didn't mind leaving with the way the front office was treating him as well. I mean I think if he thought kap was the real deal he would've stuck it out and broke records, but realizing the qb sucks and then the front office spitting in ur face probably made it an easy decision to leave. That's my pure speculation though.
Situational awareness. I'm sorry but Kap is football dumb.

Maybe the front office spit in his face because they let him pick the QB and he blew it.
The saddest part about that play where Torrey was jumping up and down is the fact the Rams coaching staff didn't even bother to call a timeout cuz they knew Kaep wouldn't see it.

Was wondering about this. Is Kaepernick known around the NFL as a sightless QB?

How the safeties rotated after the snap. Yeah, Torrey was wide open.

Our QB can't read safeties. He's done.

I don't think he even tried on this play. 'Execute the run play. Head down. Execute the run play.'

Not just IQ, but basically the guy panics like a chicken and he doesn't even use his eyes to see what plays could be had.
