Yeah, it's like he's not aware of what's going on around him.

Jim Harbaugh rarely shares too much.
But his father said Wednesday that his San Francisco son shared his intention to draft Colin Kaepernick a day before it happened.
If this is true, after a few seasons harbaugh must've realized he was a terrible qb and didn't mind leaving with the way the front office was treating him as well. I mean I think if he thought kap was the real deal he would've stuck it out and broke records, but realizing the qb sucks and then the front office spitting in ur face probably made it an easy decision to leave. That's my pure speculation though.
Maybe the front office spit in his face because they let him pick the QB and he blew it.

I was wrong. After seeing Torrey Smith wide open and Kaep not even looking at him.... I was just sick. It isn't as if I think Gabbert is any good, but there is no reason to keep Kaepernick out there. We need to dump him at the end of the the season and if he gets hurt it will screw us on the salary cap.

The worse thing that can happen IMO is we start gabbert. Gabbert plays worse, and then somehow gabbert becomes a scape goat, like a "see look how much more worse we look with gabbert playing its not just the qb." Problem is we are all aware it's not just the qb but it damn sure has alot to do with him. Kaepernick should be light years ahead of gabbert and i hope the front office agrees. I think the best scenario is gabbert plays well enough to keep the job for the rest of the year, but we lose enough to draft a real franchise qb next year.

I'm not "defending" anyone. I'm simply pointing out to our idiot fans who have such a hate-on for the guy that his play is more a function of the s**tshow around him than anything else right now. Can't wait to see Gabbert get in there and get destroyed behind that swiss cheese line, though. Joe Montana couldn't thrive on this team right now, but our dumbass fans apparently think Kap is Satan personified.
I would like for the geniuses here to simply acknowledge the multitude of problems with this offense instead of constantly herp derping ZOMG BENCH KAP.
No #1 receiving targets
No OL
No RB stable
No proven coaches
Other than that, everything is great in terms of laying the groundwork for successful QB play. I really do want Gabbert to play so some of you can see what a QB with no athleticism will do with this garbage offense, especially that line.

Sorry to bring Alex up, but him nearly getting benched saved his career. He started playing better after that point.

Originally posted by TWD_Fan:This is just sad and pathetic. IMO, the game that truly broke Kaepernick was the NFC Championship game in Seattle. He was balling until his massive choke in the fourth quarter. What we have since witnessed has been a slow decline into total awfulness. Right now, CK is projected to throw for 12 TDs this season. Even QBs on awful teams like the Jags can do more than that. If a WR wants to end his football career, he will go to team with CK as the quarterback because he will never see the football.

My last post in this thread. Does Kaep notice Torey open a year ago and get him the ball?
