no way in hell he can do any worse.
people will point to kap's physical attributes but he fkn sucks at escaping sacks. He has good straight away speed but that does nothing for you in the pocket. Blaine is probably more elusive.

it honestly cant get worse
49ers scoring rank: 32 at 13.6 ppg 31 ranked team is at 17.9
49ers red zone TD %: 31 ranked at 33%
49ers yards per game: 32 ranked at 282 yards per game
49ers also are 31 in first down per game
translation
not only are we not scoring but we arent able to move the ball

Hell, maybe we win more games in the regular season and win home field advantage.
2011- we win that super bowl if not for Kyle Williams
And if we don't give up a kick return Kap completes the greatest comeback and in SB history and carries our defense to a SB.
And we win the 2011 nfcc with a Kap playoff performance. Alex was awful.
Wet muddy and who were his receivers? I don't remember Manning doing much better.

I think one year with this team isn't really enough to judge what we have in them. I just don't think that they have the ability to take what we have and make it better. I also think it's detrimental to the team if we start his whole cycle again of dumping the qb then the head coach then the qb then the coach. If we are going to make a change, it needs to be the right one. I think if we make a change at qb it needs to be after fixing the OL. I think if we make a change at head coach it needs to be someone with lots of experience with young players and they need to have the right coordinators. Basically deal with what we got until the perfect situation comes along to upgrade.

Wet and muddy? Good thing Alex didn't play vs NE in 2012. His recievers were crab delanie and VD. Same thing Kap had the next year minus old man Moss.

Wonder if Kaep got a concussion after the big hit early in the game. It's the only viable explanation left other than he's blind.
Just watched the game. It's the same thing with Kaep. Not quick enough decisions, miss thrown ball, not staying with the read when need to, run a bit too early and sometimes ran right into a sack.
Drop balls from the guys catching the ball.

Agreed here. No issue with people wanting to change the QB, but at least try to address the line first. That may still happen before Kaep is cut or benched.

Could be just the lack of passion right now. Everything around them is not right.

The line should have been addressed after game 3 or 4. The fact that Devey is still in there is beyond frustrations. The OL should have been shaken up already. Maybe even putting Boone back on the rightside just to see what happens. The coaching staff still had time to try something different in hopes of salvaging the season but they missed the opportunity several games ago.

Definitely. Team is just going through the motions. This is what happens when football becomes just your job and you dont care about the result.
We need a spark to win but thats only gonna come from change(s). Nobody has any interest in changes.

Dude completed ONE pass to a WR that night...Alex didn't help them that's for sure.

Do you remember Delanie was seriously injured while playing that game? He was worthless. Alex had two legit targets and they doubled them most of the game.
So keep your revisionist history if it helps you sleep better at night.

The only thing that can spark the team and the fans if all of a sudden York finally speaks out about how bad this team is playing and changes need to happen. But the weasal is remaining quiet (along with Trent) to confirm that winning is not what he's about right now. He's just another owner who owns a team and is benefiting from the money rolling in from the new stadium. What urkes me even more is the superbowl is being played at Levi's this season. That just means more revenue for him even though the team sucks right now. If it is about money with Jed, then he has no reason to fix the team now. Tomsula is being the scapegoat and that was his plan all along.
