Nice that they put a good pic of him up. If it was current, and he just looked like some dude wandering the streets looking for change, we'd never get a buyer.

Yep. Dewey's fault. Should have given Kaep more time to read the defense.

What does that one play have to do with anything? That play does not make Devey any better than the worst rated lineman in the league. Pears too. Martin is pretty low. Were you one of the astute people that were calling for Brady's benching last year too?

Point is, Kaep's problem goes even beyond the bad of Devey. Even with time that the offense line occasionally gave Kaep he took too long, late thrown balls, missed the open receiver/window, or forced a throw.

This play is more damning because BEFORE the ball is snapped, he can't even bother himself to glance at his receivers, BECAUSE THATS NOT THE PLAY CALLED! He got his play and he's gonna run it.
This can't be blamed on the line AT ALL because he's not even doing what an average NFL QB would do, glance at the defense PRE SNAP. No pressure to blame kaps shortcomings on with this play.

There is no overreaction to this play cause this guy is our franchise QB and this type of crap shouldn't even be a problem with a guy whose been in the league as long as he's been in.

Glancing to the left and right to check the coverage on your WR's isn't even a "gotta be a smart QB to do" kinda thing. Thats a common sense kinda of decision! I mean if you look at the play, the Rams were coming with an all out blitz and they were not afraid of Kaep because they knew what he was going to do. Obviously, Kaep is messed up in the head. He played better with Harbs, hate to admit it, but has regressed tremendously with this coaching staff. On this play, the OL isn't even to blame, This was all Kaep!! Maybe Gabbert doesn't see the open receivers either....but we'll never know unless Kaep is benched.

Gabbert was much more successful in the pre-season. Yeah pre-season doesn't matter to many of you but its all we got going right now. Kaep sucked and preseason and its now translating to the regular season.

Both WR's were wide open, the RCB blitzes. If he had checked to a pass looks like the LDE #97 was in good position to stop it. The entire defense knew the play before the snap.

First thing I thought of after this play was Brady had a similar play and quick snapped and quick passed to gronk. Does Brady audible out of the run or does he just see a mismatch and quickly take advantage of it?

Honestly I think he looks at his receiver and gives him a nod and snaps it and throws it. I know what play you're referring to I think. It was a couple weeks ago. Soemetimes Brady will snap it and do a QB and everyone else thought it was a run play or something. Again....thats experience and football IQ.

I don't know if Tomsula has a choice anymore. The players have checked out on Kaepernick. Couple that with the fact that Kap doesn't even trust what he's doing anymore and I think benching is the only option. Yesterday was a pretty horrid display of offensive football.

If Kap doesn't get benched this week, then I'm going to to have to send out prayers that other rape allegation comes forward in hopes of change.
