Love the guy, he is my QB. But he has to think first, then type. Check your sources (reads), send the correct post (stand and...), and make a positive impact (deliver).

Not a smart tweet to be sure...

...but freakin' relax. To err is human. He realized the mistake and immediately deleted the post and said he didn't mean any disrespect. In our "gotcha" society he'll now be tarred and feathered and further demonstrate why he didn't like talking to the media to begin with. Lord knows we've all said something we shouldn't. Diff is ALOT more people pay attention when he's speaking...or tweeting.

That's good and I'm not saying he meant to make fun of the situation, it just speaks to his maturity. Even if you are working out so hard you don't know the facts, does that make it ok to press send? It's bad decision making and a lack of maturity.

It's a good mature response though.

I don't really follow social media...does anyone get off that easy after posting some kind of gaffe? Kap definitely catches a lot of negative attention, but it seems like no one has figured out how to make a social media slip-up go away immediately. Sign of the times.

I have said it before and I will say it again.

I want 49ers players to avoid using "social media."

But, if they do, I would like them to spend just a tiny bit of time thinking about what the hell they are going to post.
