I can't speak for you but I can for myself. I ain't up in arms about a stupid regrettable tweet because he retracted it. I ain't reacting so passionately about it because I never saw the uproar when Kap was doing charity work. I didn't see headlines when the team and Kap hosted Oscar RIP. I didn't see twitter blow up when Kap did Camp Taylor. I didn't see a blog from Florio when our guys did book signings visited hospitals or took handicapped kids to proms. All I see is posters that don't post here post when a stupid tweet gets out or a headline from writers that need clicks with negative articles on this team. For the folk criticizing Kap I wonder if any of you even tried to help the people Kap has at 27? The media is full of tools that write about these young men when their own kids are college dropouts drug addicts and in and out of legal troubles. They write this crap when their own kids lives are in shambles all the while Kap is doing big things and helping folk all the same. Smh

How can anyone say they don't act like anything....when you're not famous and then you come on here and act upset about another grown man

i know you did not ask, but no it does not bother me. i keep my eye on the big picture and do not let myself get distracted by these minor issues

Personally, it doesn't bother me. And I thought it was funny. Because it was a joke. As in not to be taken seriously. lol

I think a reasonable reaction is somewhere between these two comments. Kap's stupid post does not mean that he's deficient or totally immature, but it DOES mean SOMETHING and shouldn't be dismissed simply because he was joking and promptly apologized. He needs to receive criticism for this because it will force him to grow up and learn.

The over-the-top comments are ridiculous, but so are the comments that just play it off like it's nothing. My gut says if Andrew Luck or Russell Wilson posted something similar, a lot of you guys would be exhibiting a different reaction.

the maturity increase i want to see is on the field. i do not want him anymore to get sucked in to doing foolish things because a defensive player trash talked him and got him to react. he fixes that and i have zero worries about him

I think maturity should be something on and off the field. Your example of him jawing with defenders, letting them get into his head is the same as him having Twitter feuds with random people.

He needs to think about what he's doing an exhibit maturity on and off the field.

I agree 100% with you.

Question, are there any teams that the fans have zero b******t to hear about and deal with?
We have Ray Ray.... Kaps tweet... And we still have brooks laying in the grass like a grenade.
I've read reports we need to "set an example like the Bears did and drop brooks"

Lol at all these people jumping at the opportunity to call him immature.

You guys know majority of 27 year olds are on social media right? And how does not doing research on a picture he saw have anything to do with maturity? It was a stupid move but im not going to call the guy a 13 year old for not knowing the magnitude of a situation states away.

Kap made a dumb move, an immature move would be getting butthurt and whining over the hat he wore to a party.

Exactly. Hilarious that random people think they're more mature than a professional athlete that has more discipline in his pinky than most people have in their actual scrambled lives. Anyone that lives a fulfilled successful life isn't worried about such trivial things, let alone outraged by it.

A lack of perspective is NOT a sign of maturity. People are struggling all over the world dealing with real problems but 140 characters in a tweet upset me, I must be doing something great with my life.

I believe you deserve a reward, probably the first reward of any kind you ever won. Congratulations.
