You know whats funny? Most the people that hate him that much were either eliminated by him in the playoffs, have a qb they drafted before him in 2011, or (and this is most common) they were proven wrong by him.

The people that thought he would fall flat on his face and Alex would be put back in are still somewhat pissed it never happened. Just think about it, guys like Heath Evans never hated until Kap proved him wrong. Now he goes around saying the Ravens figured him out so he can feel better about himself when deep down he knows Kap threw for 300 and outplayed everyone on that field.

Heath Evans is quick to point the blame to Kap because he's been patiently waiting to blame Kap for anything. I think the same thing that happened to Heath happened to a lot of fans, they were proven wrong and now they wanna see him fail. Thats why every little thing this guy does gets ridiculed.

I'm 29 and I don't (nor did I when I was 27) act like such a teenaged tool.

I can't speak for you but I can for myself. I ain't up in arms about a stupid regrettable tweet because he retracted it. I ain't reacting so passionately about it because I never saw the uproar when Kap was doing charity work. I didn't see headlines when the team and Kap hosted Oscar RIP. I didn't see twitter blow up when Kap did Camp Taylor. I didn't see a blog from Florio when our guys did book signings visited hospitals or took handicapped kids to proms. All I see is posters that don't post here post when a stupid tweet gets out or a headline from writers that need clicks with negative articles on this team. For the folk criticizing Kap I wonder if any of you even tried to help the people Kap has at 27? The media is full of tools that write about these young men when their own kids are college dropouts drug addicts and in and out of legal troubles. They write this crap when their own kids lives are in shambles all the while Kap is doing big things and helping folk all the same. Smh

How can anyone say they don't act like anything....when you're not famous and then you come on here and act upset about another grown man
"How can anyone say they don't act like anything"
--Because I didn't act like that age 27, that's how

"when you're not famous"
-Don't see what that has to do with anything

"And then you come on here and act upset about another grown man"
--Because that "grown man" acts like an embarrassing, self-interested, 13-year old and unfortunately leads the team I've faithfully followed since age 7 and, since this is a forum and thread about Kapernick, I voiced my thoughts on the subject.

It's not this incident I'm isolating or speaking solely about. It's the greater picture that this is a symptom of it. The guy is a clown. Ask any fan of another team--a team that doesn't even have any sort of rivalry or bone to pick with SF--and they'll tell you the same

You guys are still going on about this? 10 pages...really?

Kap needs to learn his lesson. SHould have to volunteer with the Red Cross for a month or so. unacceptable
Seems like there are two camps here:
1. awww Kap didn't mean it, media hates him and people are sensitive and dumb
2. Kap is continually make poor choices and acting immature.

No one thinks he actually meant to make fun of people dying in a regional flood. But at the same time I don't see how Niner fans and Kap fans (like myself, f**k I almost named my kid Colin) can say that this doesn't show his immaturity. Being mature is something on and off the field. You can't just say oh well as long as he's doing great on the field I don't care. He's immature off the field and on the field too; making poor decisions and talking s**t to people and letting them get in his head.

Edit: also everyone saying people are too sensitive and media hates Kap, What other starting NFL QB acts like this? Name one.

It was super bowl year emotions were high...
It was a stupid tweet, he meant it for something else. Get over it and move on. Society is way too sensitive now,

And promptly deleted it and apologized multiple times after
Kaep has the mind of a child and should stop the Social Media crap
He's embarrassing. ...plus he's the face of our franchise which makes it even worse

I have been a part of the faithful for 30 years. Have lived in Houston for 25 of those. I didnt take offense to this, as It's realistic to think that he wasnt fully aware of the magnitude of the floods that are happening around here. Dumb post, he apologized..Im over it.

My advice to Kaepernick is to get off of social media.
