I like everything I am hearing about Kaepernick and the work he did in AZ. However, it recalls all my frustration with Harbaugh. He was supposed to be The Great Quarterback Whisperer, and he proved he wasn't that. He was just a college cheerleader with a self-discipline problem. I don't want to hear about three winning seasons. Those SHOULD have been winning seasons, that included at least on ring. His utter failure to truly understand the quarterback position in the NFL in 2014 is becoming even more clear by Kaepernick's comments about what he learned working with another former NFL quarterback who actually nows what it takes.

Of course not, because it would ruin your whole argument....

I feel ya, let's just keep moving forward.

Things are headed in the right direction
two good posts. agree, lets move forward, onward and upward.college cheerleading becomes very annoying with vet players after a while and once you start to lose.

In hindsight, it might be a really good thing that the FO decided to move on when they did rather than letting the issue linger on for another year. It remains to be seen how the new staff will be, but if they are more fluid in their playbooks and coaching, then I think we have the roster that can win again, and become a contender.

Sad but true!

Nevermind his biggest accomplishments... he couldn't morph a QB with no pro style experience into an elite QB in 2 1/2 years without a trustworthy deep threat or decent pass-protection. It's like the delayed results from economic policies that new Presidents usually claim after 0-2 years in office. It'll be interesting to see who gets credit next year when Kap's performance increases in quality.

Argue to 'move on' but can't finish his sentence without bashing the previous head coach.
Wow, this fan base is really disgusting sometimes. It's a shame being associated with such ungrateful fans that can't appreciate the hard work coaches and players put in for that kind of success.

Oh, you're just "supposed" to go to 3 straight NFCCG's? Ever, let alone in your first crack at being a Head Coach, with close to the same exact roster that failed to reach .500 without you?

If it's "so easy" to get the title game that many times in a row... why is it that only a handful of teams have done so in the 60+ year history of the NFL?

And for those of you who don't pay attention the NFL outside of football, the reality of the matter is that almost ALL starting NFL QB's - even super stars like Brees, Brady, Peyton - all have and most of them still DO work with a QB coach in the off-season. So please stop with these trash comments that "Harbaugh isn't a good QB developer" because Colin Kaepernick "regressed" as a passer behind an injury riddled OL that couldn't block, and throwing to 1 competent, HEALTHY target last year in Anquan Boldin.

Nevermind the fact that the Jim Harbaugh took a run-first college QB that most analysts and armchair GM's wrote off as a "gimmick QB" and helped pretty much turn him into a star instantly...

Come on Jim...get out there on the spring practice field and quit looking back!

What a coincidence that it got "annoying" for the offense that lost 3 of 5 starting OL, Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis (our only deep threat)....

Yet it didn't get annoying for a Top 5 Defense that was on the field waaaay longer than it should have been and missing a few All-Pro's.

I'm sure I will get some kind of response holding Harbaugh 100% accountable for the offense while at the same time refusing to give him an ounce of credit for the D.

You could TOTALLY tell though the players were very annoyed with his "college cheerleading" by the way they played their ass off for him the last game, carried him off the field, and some of them publicly going to bat for him when they didn't have to.
