We all know only tools and total douches do that type of stuff. I honestly see why fans of other teams don't like him and the team after this. He's the exact opposite of Anquan Boldin and you just want you leader to be smarter and more mature than this. It's why Marino and Jim Kelly never reached their ultimate goals. They were party boys and just not as locked in as the other greats.

Compare what Kaepernick posts on his twitter feed to a guy like Bridgewater who is only entering his second season in the NFL. Notice the complete absence of general all-around douchiness and immature posts.

As I said, at some point its time for Colin to grow up and stop acting like he's trying to be the most popular kid in the 8th grade.

Good god. Rothlesberger was attacking women in bar bathrooms, Vick was killing and torturing dogs, Cutler is walking down the street publicly flipping people off, Farvre was sending dick-pics to various groupies, Winston is getting away with sexual assault, and you guys are crapping your panties over a stupid tweet.

Amazing.
Thank you!

To both of you, those aren't 49er QB's. That being said, I don't care. I get your point. I am also not condemning the guy. I'm just saying that it's simply time to grow up.
Wow! Judge others much? Live in a glass house or do you guys NEVER make mistakes? Oh, never the same mistake twice? Never said something you regretted, then some time later said something you regretted again? Never happened to any of you judgmental SOB's? I have not, one time, heard or seen any of you post your gratitude for any of the great things Kap has done for kids, those in need, for Oscar (RIP), You only come out when there is something that you can spin into a horror story. Please, stop, enough already...
I never realized how many grown-ass men read other men's tweets.

His drop and release are a lot more compact compared to before.

Right and if they were celebrities they would never make mistakes period because money and fame would change that.

Ok. Colin Kap is a douche. Boo-hoo. Who cares? None of us hang out with him. Does he win games or lose games? Thats all that matters.

I swear social media has vagina-fied everybody.

He was a starter as a rookie, is the unquestioned starter going into his second season and already acts like more of a professional than Kaepernick, not sure what point you were trying to make exactly.

Everybody thinks those guys are s**t heads.

I'll give you Vick on that one, but everybody in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Alabama and Tampa Bay do not think these other guys are s**t heads.

All I'm saying is that while I agree that Kaepernick's original tweet was incredibly stupid, I think a lot of fans around here who don't particularly like him anyway are just blowing this out of proportion and having a good time doing what they do best - trashing Kaepernick. And, I'm also saying that a stupid and insensitive tweet is not a capital crime, especially when he's man enough to immediately realize he made an ass out of himself and apologize.

I don't think the word "joke" means what you think it does.
