Or maybe because he was told what was happening in Houston and realized it was in poor taste. My brother in law works with Kaeps father and he says he and that family are "salt of the earth". I'd assume Kaeps a good person and have never heard otherwise.
Just stop with the excuses for him. As much as he is on social media I have a hard time believing he didnt know what was happening in Houston,

If he has PR people they do a really s**tty job with him, If he ever wants to be taken seriously he needs to grow up

Absolutely, hopefully we get more video soon

He looks a lot smoother; no hopping around at the end of the drop back; more compact throwing motion.

And even though he still seems to be firing fast balls, Reggie Bush has already let it be known that they're working on swings and screens, so my guess is that we'll start to see a lot more touch as well. I'm excited to see him play in this new offense.

Yeah I noticed that as well, still throwing hard as ever. Completely forgot Reggie had said that. Will be exciting to see, I thought Kap had HORRIBLE touch for the most part last season. Always looked awkward/uncomftrable throwing the short pass.

I don't care what the media thinks of Kap or what other teams fans think of him. That's not what matters. It's all about whether he is breaking laws, which he isn't, and if he's working to improve himself as a QB, which he is.

I wouldn't even care if he was on the radio making Cully like homophobic comments or racist comments. That's how little I care about his image. Just ball for my favorite football team and don't break laws.

I'll give you Vick on that one, but everybody in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Alabama and Tampa Bay do not think these other guys are s**t heads.

All I'm saying is that while I agree that Kaepernick's original tweet was incredibly stupid, I think a lot of fans around here who don't particularly like him anyway are just blowing this out of proportion and having a good time doing what they do best - trashing Kaepernick. And, I'm also saying that a stupid and insensitive tweet is not a capital crime, especially when he's man enough to immediately realize he made an ass out of himself and apologize.

Plenty of people that like Kaepernick, just getting tired of him repeatedly being brought up in the national media over something stupid he did or said on social media. Living in Phoenix, anytime he goes full potato on Twitter, I get to hear about it from Cards fans for weeks on end. They spent nearly an hour's worth of time on talk radio here yesterday talking about Kaepernick has the intellectual maturity of a potato.

Is it that difficult for him to hire someone with better judgment to manage his social media profile's and make sure that things such as this never happen in the first place.

I can recall this and one other time he got flack for social media action. The other time was when he responded to that guy that was dissing him. You keep saying "he repeatedly is saying somethign stupid on social media". Got any other examples that hit the gossip circuit?...

He didn't know the severity of the situation when he posted.

speaking of another non story
If he does look better this year I think he should go ahead and schedule another Camp Kurt next summer.

Well the second part, you really should care about there is no excuse for hate, and the PR that comes with our team being located In SF I wouldnt touch that with a 10 yard pole.

My guess is that if Kaepernick looks good this year and makes significant progress, Warner's phone is going to be ringing off the hook.

Exactly, who would ever expect that a 27-yr old adult would have any idea that flash floods in a major metropolitan area just might happen to be sorta serious?

Well the fact that you said MIGHT would suggest that not ALL floods are serious correct?
