I wouldn't even care if he was on the radio making Cully like homophobic comments or racist comments. That's how little I care about his image. Just ball for my favorite football team and don't break laws.
This is a very short sighted comment/attitude. If his immaturity on social media represents his social sensibilityin general, then that same immaturity can be detirmental to team chemistry. It doesn't appear to be a serious issue but his penchant for throwing to a covered Crabtree could be a sign of his acting on impulse rather than thinking through the situation. Maturity is important for leaders and having the respect of your team mates is extremely important to QBs.
That said, the improvement during press conferences demonstrates his awareness of the problem and his desire to turn around his image/behavior. This will likely happen in social media as well and he will hopefully develop into a solid leader--without Gore...it is certainly needed this coming year.
