Thank goodness Crabs is gone. Now Kap will stop forcing big game moments and try something different.

He definitely will not be looking Crabtree's way in the clutch this year! Alright, alright, alright! That's got to be a step in the right direction.

Harbaugh doesn't deserve all the blame for the O or the D. Harbaugh's biggest strength as an NFL coach was how to lead and put a staff together then get everyone on the same page and let his coaches coach for the most part. Harbaugh wasn't an Xs and Os guy in college or the NFL. He's a winner because he knows winners but his inability to put winning over the loyalty of his coaches and knowing when to change his process on how to win was his downfall. In the NFL you have to deal with an owner and you have to know how to communicate and listen if you don't agree. You play the political game and still get what you want. Jim didn't think he should have to do that. His way of doing things is better served for college and if he didn't learn anything with the 49ers every stop he makes in the NFL will be a carbon copy of a Larry Brown coaching career.

He needs to work on qb sneak without fumbling the ball.

JH did do anything besides telling Alex smith to take the sack..instead of turning it over....and if you were paying attention our offensive coaching was the weak leak out all 4 years
Wow, your reading is horrible.... there was a reason I put the word "gimmick" in parentheses (you do know what those are and why they are used, right?), and why I referred to the people who called him that as "armchair GM's". I'm probably the biggest Kap supporter there is, I wanted us to trade up for him well before we drafted him.
"telling Alex to take a sack instead of turning the ball over"... so devoid of any thought it doesn't even deserve to be addressed...
Shows how clueless most of the people constantly whining on here are. You probably honest to God think that Harbaugh just pulled Alex Smith into the coaches office and sternly told him "Don't turn the ball over any more, son". And that was what led to Alex Smith posting career bests in efficiency, completion percentage, 6 GW drives in 1 season, and one of the best playoff performances ever for an NFL QB? Because "Harbaugh told him to take sacks instead of INT's".
LOL!!!!
And nowhere did I say offensive coaching wasn't an issue at all, I implied that it's hypocritical to blame him completely for offensive coaching and not give him credit for what the D did... since, ya know, people are basically accusing the players of losing respect for him and not playing hard for him anymore. But I'm sure that went over your head as well.
Just because Harbaugh's gone and our team wasn't perfect with him doesn't mean it isn't totally classless and disrespectful to take cheap shots at him and discredit him for the good things he did do.
Lol, sorry but if you're gonna attack people and try to make a point, please at least know what you're talking about. " " Those are called quotes, ( ) those are called parentheses. So you sorta just proved that you don't know what they are and why they're used. Sorry, I just couldn't let that go lol. I do agree with some of the stuff you said though, for the record
lol

Young QBs usually have a WR who is a security blanket...Montana and Clark for instance. It was natural for CK to choose Crabtree as the team veteran WR and a guy who's rep is bigger than his production. He came in with great promise but foot and other injuries have limited him to a questionable draft pick. Still don't blame them for taking him as he was phenomenal in college...and without the injuries...who knows?
Thank heavens for Boldin showing CK what a really clutch guy looks like!

With you on this! I have been ready for Crabtree to move on for several years now...just don't like his hangdog demeanor.

That was a TD, dammit. If Brees, Brady, Rodgers or Manning did the same thing ten times, it would be ten TD's.

Not to mention that pass to Crabs near the goal line at the end of the game was actually a TD. There are clear images of Crabtree with full possession of the ball, and both knees down in the end zone, yet they called it either incomplete or down at the 1 or whatever the hell those idiot refs called. They shoulda won the game right there, but they probably should have been kicking the Rams' asses in the first place anyways

Don't mean to argue, but it doesn't matter if the ball was caught with both knees in the endzone. If the ball hasn't crossed the goal, then it's not a TD.

I hope the Raiders/49ers game doesn't come down to the final drive in the end zone and they put Crabtree in as a CB. Oh wait, I guess I wouldn't need to worry about an interception because they never complete a pass when it counts!

At least one angle showed that the ball was there too. The Niners got screwed on that play.
