I wonder if CK's gonna get some time in pre-season games, unlike the last couple years under Harbaugh where CK played about 2 total series through PS. Even Peyton was playing a full half in the 3rd game. That was one thing that I really didn't like under Harbaugh. That 3rd pre-season game can be very important for the offense to get adjusted to live game speed.

What does this have to do with Kaepernick?

What Harbaugh did in last pre-season was NOTHING compared to what he did or didn't do in the sixteen regular games.

Compared to his first three seasons' coaching effort, to me, Harbaugh took a "dive" last year.

Really hope to see more of CK in the preseason. I realize there is risk of injury but the team has so many new parts and with the new coaches it may take them half the season to work out all the kinks. Playing at least the first half of each game would give CK, his receivers and the OL that much time to build chemistry.

Agreed, need to stop babying Kap and just let him play! If injury happens then it was already written in stone. We need no fear this season.
Kap will be this year's MVP. Book it!

I believe it. He seems excited as f**k, and I think the Houston tweet was an example of it. He wants to let people know he's ready to roll.

Not really damned if you do play him, unless he is injured. But not giving him enough practice time may lead to injury when he plays the full games during the season. I've been unhappy they haven't picked up a veteran QB for insurance.

But your argument can be used for everything...the lighting in the parking lot wasn't good enough and he tore his ACL stepping into a pot hole! Just have to depend on luck unless they find a capable backup. Maybe Logan will turn Gabbert's career around.

Look. Not all of us can be so informed. If your 3rd cousins step brother knew the guy who worked at the churro stand at Levis you too would know that this coaching staff is terrible. If you got to stare out the window of your 3rd floor office and watch highschool boys practicing daily you too would know Kaps mechanics are terrible and there's no way we could get to the superbowl with him under center.

I believe we already have atleast one time gotten to the superbowl with him under center. Now he's a few years wiser and still the same hard working, athletically gifted QB that will finally be allowed to become the leader of this offense. Let's make one thing clear, CK was never going to become the leader of this offense under Jim Harbaugh. In order to build QB leadership skills, the QB has to have some kind of freedom within the offense. Not much at first but enough to want to take command. Jim Harbaugh all but crippled him most of last year.

I'm not going to sit here and promise the superbowl. But I will tell you how excited I am about guys like VD, Boldin and CK having there finger prints on this offense. When CK did take us to the superbowl, that's the only time in the Jim Harbaugh era that the offense actuallly had me excited week in and week out. We have a chance to be that again but this time with a couple more added elements such as pressure beaters like screens and half back passes which our offense has been missing for arleast 4 seasons now.

Absolutely. They just KNOW Tomsula couldn't possibly be successful..... until he is. And then they've always been huge Tomsula boosters.

theyre not just "high school boys" theyre more like college prospects!
