What makes you positive of these things?! Just curious.
They seem like some of the obvious steps that can be taken.
But the bottom line is that I tend to be optimistic during the off-season.
During the regular season not so much.

One clue that makes me feel More confident is tomsulas statement about playing to the players strength...and a big part of that is putting them in better situations

Wasting your keystrokes, Chuck.

Kap trained hard in the offseason.
Our season hinges on his play.
Our D will need time to gel with all the new faces. The offense has to get going led by Kap.
Smith and VD give us some speed we haven't had.
Witn hyde and hunter looking stronfg, we can do some damage if we have some good plays.

Verb, can you provide any evidence saying we will be worse this season? Or will you just keep making things up?
At least we go by facts and what we hear from the source itself.
Also, when we win games .., will you argue and say it won't keep happening?

lolllll thanks cc.
I really am sorry for this wall I've put up against our front office. For years and years I've fed off of your guys positive outlook, but no no no not this time, not this year.
And you're right, if I end up being wrong, THANK GOD! I'll apologize again later.
I'm just really fascinated in how you guys are able to remain positive.

I do think that the head coach should be positive when he speaks publically, don't you.
I can not recall any NFL head coach who speaks negatively (in the preseason) about the team and the work that it is doing.
I will admit that I do not know what Tomsula is supposed to say.

All I'm doing is setting my fandom aside when analyzing the situation of the franchise, the big picture.
I don't buy into coach speak or player speak, it means nothing.

Me to. I envy them.
I still have hope but not expecting much.
Kapernick working his ass off is huge for us. I have hope in that he can make up for short comings with his improvisional plays.

Football, at least for me, is fun; fun to play, fun to watch, fun to follow.
If despair, frustration, and anger dominated my vision of the game and the 49ers, watching and following the game and the 49ers just would not be fun.
For me, as a fan, football is a game; it is entertaining.
If I could not be optimistic, following and watching the 49ers or the game would not be fun.
I would not to do it.

Not gonna lie, Kaep's potential is exciting! I think he's our only hope, but I'm skeptical for obvious reasons.
Remember John Elway needed a Mike Shanahan to win it all.

Elway needed Terrell Davis

We can twist reality all we want, at the end of the day we have to hope Kap does something he hasn't done so far in his career, pass the ball effectively from the pocket. I think kap is on thinner ice than what most fappers want to admit. This is why I won't be surprised if we use a higher draft choice and select his possible replacement.
If kap turns into a much better QB this year, then awesome! Good for him and the 49ers. As far as I am concerned we should have drafted a QB in last years draft unless the front office has faith in Gabbert, which again I have no faith in gabbert whatsoever.
