Possible. I'm sure there are plays that Kap just simply runs better than Gabbert....like everything involving a WR

no one is scared of kap's ability to run or throw. he's no where near the same runner he once was, and teams easily stop the read option now a days.

Not going to happen in real life.

We will see. At this point, nobody knows what to expect from Chip with this group of QBs. Also wouldn't surprise me to see Gabbert benched by week 6 but that's another story

Seattle is very successful with it. Chip always has a solid run game and did it with QBs who were zero threat to those edge defenders. Kap may not put the fear in defenses like he used to but if you think teams will crash off that edge and dare Kap to keep it like they did with Foles, Bradford, Barkley and Sanchez, you are fooling yourself
Greg Roman:

"Try this: 'Hey, it's second-and-5, we're in Tiger, they just played Cover 3, so let's go Flank Right 2-Jet Z-Sail F-Drive. Tiger is a personnel group. Flank Right is the formation. 2-Jet is the protection. Z-Sail and F-Drive are two route combinations. And that is the simplest play, and formation, I could call: A two-receiver route and [another] two-receiver route, and the first one I said, you wanna start your eyes there. Or the play could end in the word 'alert,' which means if we get a certain look, be alert to audible to a specific play that we memorized during the week. Now, are they in nickel? Are they treating this as three wides or are they staying in base? Oh, they're matching, say, Richard Sherman on [Charles] Clay ... you need to be aware of that. So you've got a pre-snap read, then a drop read and a set read. On your drop, you're reading something -- you have a primary receiver, or a primary route combination -- then once your back foot hits and you don't throw the No. 1 read, then you're into your set read, and now you're getting through a progression: Ding ding ding ding ding. Meanwhile somebody's trying to hold you up and clothesline you. And you have to do all this in maybe two seconds."

Haha, Kaep said f**k progression I'm bail'n.

Kaep hit his back foot and would take too long on his #1 primary receiver or route combo read. Can't get off of it fast enough to go to his progression or don't want to... It's not ding ding ding for Kaep, it's Bail! Bail! Bail!

If and when Kap gets in the field. The question us whether or not Kelly will sprinkle him in there just to run a specific play. I don't think he will. He will sit, or start, but not alternating series.
Hey Kap!

Bruce Miller says thanks for pissing off the cops!

I don't know this blogger or the validity, and he doesn't source his material, but he says Kaepernick has converted to the Muslim religion and that he and Nessa are engaged.

This is very false. There are a number of teams who still run read options regularly, AND have success with it.

I too don't think he will alternate series but I do think Chip would have certain packages for him similar to Harbaugh. He didn't come out there for entire series, it was a play here and a play there. Wouldn't surprise me to see something like that with Chip
