It was a lame article, full of lame excuses and fact twisting which denies actual.play on the field outside of 2012/2013 (rushing).
Kaepernicks "passer rating" (QBR) is tenth among active QB's based on his running in 2012,2013 and even 2014. Not his passing. His QBR is tied with Dalton not because Kaepernick is an above average passer but because he took the NFL by storm (like #7storm took Houston) with his legs.
If Dalton was on this team he would be starting before Kaepernick. Any NFL team would take Dalton over Kap.
And that's exactly what Baalke wanted to do, but let Harbaugh have his pick.
Andy Dalton?? Are you kidding me? You guys are the worst. He's NEVER won a playoff game and somehow you guys think he would've won in Greenbay, Carolina AND the Superbowl? This is the dumbs**t I get tired of in this thread.
It has been well-chronicled that the 49ers had Dalton as their pick and were pissed when Cincy took him. At that point, Harbaugh prevailed upon Baalke to move up to get CK who was their second choice.

I would hesitate to call his outing good but rather a mixed bag. But some of Kelly's scheme seems to be kap friendly.
Given the bar that has been set has been 0 passes to WR's all preseason, I'd say it was a good outing.
Is that all that quantifies as a success? Passes to wide receivers? Do they have to be complete or do incompletions and drops count?

This thread didn't take long to get off topic.
As far as football goes, Kaepernick should be put on the trade block again. There is a reason they kept three QBs. Three QBs who have been starters. I say we trade Kaepernick, help cover his salary for the new team to make a deal possible, and roll with Gabbert/Ponder. Then draft a QB next year. Not sure who would want him right now, but surely we can get something for him.
The last thing we need is for him to get hurt, or pretend to get hurt, so he is guaranteed even more money. If he is on the roster, he should really be made inactive.

There are 8 million posts on here about trading or cutting him. He's our #2. Like it or not, and will likely start more than once this year. Cheer for your team. Jesus.

I don't know this blogger or the validity, and he doesn't source his material, but he says Kaepernick has converted to the Muslim religion and that he and Nessa are engaged.
I thought this was the Kaepernick football thread. That things like that were supposed to go to the parking lot??

Pack up the tent and get the circus out of town. The Niners have 14 million reasons to sit Kap on game days. Watch when he is not suited up on game days his sitting or kneeling down will be non-news after a couple of weeks,

Kind of interesting.
"The impact is just conversations we constantly have," he said. "This is an open discussion I have with many people, not just my woman. She is Muslim. Her family is Muslim and I have great respect for them. I have great respect for people's right to believe what they want to believe. I don't think anybody should be prosecuted or judged based on what their beliefs are."
I actually don't have a problem with this...if your woman is an activist and you are around a different religion, naturally, you're going to be more open to understanding that way. I do wonder if he'll convert at some point and wonder if he'll become a FT activist.

Not gonna lie that's a pretty dope response...but talk is cheap at this point.
I just hope he doesn't try and sabotage Blaine just to prove himself right.

You really have to question how peoples minds work here.
