I just hope he doesn't try and sabotage Blaine just to prove himself right.

You really have to question how peoples minds work here.

It can be as simple as helping Blaine look at film on the sideline and letting him know what he sees, but knowing Kap, he'll probably sit and protest that too.

I thought this was the Kaepernick football thread. That things like that were supposed to go to the parking lot??

He became a backup qb since last year and again this year. We already know who Kaep is on the football field. The rest should be to the parking lot.

Pack up the tent and get the circus out of town. The Niners have 14 million reasons to sit Kap on game days. Watch when he is not suited up on game days his sitting or kneeling down will be non-news after a couple of weeks,

If they are not going ti suit him up this year, why not just cut him?

What do you know about him that makes you say that?
Can we change the title to "Kaepernick not playing football thread," since he's warming the bench?

I know that he's rebellious. If he really does sit down and not help Blaine during game days, would it really be a surprise to people?

Tad different circumstances this time...

Just a tad, except for the guy in front of him last time was much better... (and this is coming from a guy who wasn't a big fan of his)

That remains to be seen.

Why does he need to help Blaine he's a genius multiple read qb?

I can't see it at all...

After the last two years? Lol. Don't remember Alex doing nearly as badly in 2014 or 2015. And don't think he is riding the pine this year either.

Their numbers are nearly the same in 2014 lol and that's with this organization and former coach in turmoil.

We will see how he looks when his defense isn't tops in scoring and carrying him anymore. Even over the last 5 years when the team needs to count on Alex, it doesn't turn out good (except the Saints game, he pulled it off once)

This may be the Kelly-Baalke power struggle, if Kap plays and has a season ending injury, next year could very well be guaranteed to the tune of 14 mill.
Kap is to football as Michael Phelps is to bicycling.
