I just hope that Kap is in this phase and it's not permanent.

Kap after the pick 6 game last season:

No more Jim Harbaugh:

Kap during the offseason trying to find himself. No desire:

Kap in Preseason, still no desire. Too many things on his mind:

Kap seeing life after the team supporting him as a person:

Let's hope he can do this if Gabbert doesn't work out:

I remember when Muhammad Ali went against the US government and refused to be inducted. Like many people I was outraged. However, as time passed Ali was proved right. Three years of Ali's prime was taken away. Prior to this I rooted for him to get knocked out by whomever he fought. I became an Ali fan after his first fight with Smokin'Joe Frazier. Ali knew who he was, this became clearer with every passing year of his life. It is only now becoming public how many people he helped without anyone knowing. To shoulder the responsibility of what he is undertaking does Kap know who he is?

It's not going to make a difference in Wins or losses.

Agree. With Kelly backing Kaepernick's right to protest and Jed contributing (will be interesting to see where) It seems to be drawing the team together. Even the guys who might not agree are just letting it go and I don't see any overt hostility.

Where it might be interesting is if it becomes widespread and begins to turn fans off. Then what will Roger do?

Or turns off Sponsors like Budweiser that's when Mr. Roger will be in a rock and a hard space.

Can you imagine the NFL suddenly falling due to the sitting during the anthem? Not very likely but weird things have happened in his world. Might be good news for college football!
Kap is no Rocky.....best thing for the team would be to cut him so the organization can move forward next year. This year is going to be a dumpster fire.

Not sure about that. He seems to be gaining more and more support from the NFL players, teams and outside football. Surprises me...thought there would be more of a backlash. Maybe ticket sales and viewers will define his success or failure?

Rocky wanted of this team just a few months ago, I doubt he's already changed his mind.

Doesn't matter...not his decision. He might be better liked by fellow players now than then.

According to a report there were 70+ NFL veterans on a conference chat this morning talking about how they were going to protest. The NFL is in a TOUGH position. I don't think people realize how much 'blackness' and the treatment of black people means to these black NFL players.

I may be wrong on this but leaders are not supposed to act the way he does, especially QBs. He got away with it when harbaugh was here to cover for him but now?

Physical talent will only get you so far
