I don't think he's calling him out for being biased, he's calling him out for putting up a front. The guy "thanks goodness" a particular QB isn't starting in one post, then he's thumbs upping posts saying they support all our QBs. I don't get why he needs to put the front up either, when he makes it blatantly obvious he's biased.

This is EXACTLY what I'm saying. I'm biased and I don't hide it. Keeping it 100% isn't in his vocabulary.

Personal attacks not withstanding, it is no secret that I prefer Blaine to Kaepernick at this point. And that I don't think Blaine is the long term answer in any case. I just think he is our better choice at the moment. And my opinion is my own. And just because you get emotional because Kap is riding the pine , I certainly wouldn't if he legitimately beats out Gabbert. I don't have crushes on players like you seem to. They come and go, and the team stays on.

He also admitted his own bias.

I played the best game of pool in my life one night, in a game I had never played before. I'm normally a 9-ball player, but there was game of straight pool going on, and they needed a fourth for a team game. I cleared the table to get the 15 points we needed to win.

You could say I had the "hot hand" that game.

Haven't cleared a table since, in either 8 ball or 9 ball.

Haha, I just watched Creed again the other night so Rocky is still fresh in my mind. The problem with this comparison is that boxing is an individual sport where it emphasizes physical strength, speed and endurance as much, if not more than intelligence. Sure, forming a game plan and staying on the edge, counter-punching and strategy are important. But football is one of the most team-dependent sports. And that's where one of Kaepernick's biggest weaknesses is.

He doesn't play well as part of the team. At his height, he was running all over the place, more than he was handing off the ball. He would hold onto the ball, ignoring everything underneath like a wide open Frank Gore, and try to hit the 15+ yard routes. That was fine when we had one of the top lines in the NFL, but once we had Erik Pears and turnstiles at almost every position apart from Staley, Kaepernick still tried to wait for deeper routes to come open instead of letting receivers try to get YAC. This is why I'm really looking forward to having Gabbert with a full off-season starting in Chip Kelly's offense. The coaches don't need to dumb down the offense so that Kaepernick can pass to his first or second read or take off.

Do you know what isn't a team sport? Kap's desire to want to be on top again.

So RG3 may have destroyed his shoulder. Long shot but we could move Kap and AD for a first and maybe a 4th.

I'll take Kap + AD = Josh Gordon.

Gordon obviously doesn't want to be in CLE. A change may be good for him. Here is why Gordon on our team, whether he plays or not is a good thing.

Baalke will finally see how a talented receiver really looks like.

Either way, we going to cut Kap and AD sooner or later.
