Or cause it was a blow out and didn't want to have an already frustrated Rams team take a cheap shot on our QB. I hate Jason Cole I'm not a violent person but I would love to scissor kick him in the back of the head.

Just heard it on KNBR.

Back of the Effing head man. Back of the head. Makes up random crap and throws it out there.

Nobody working as a professional and their credibility on the line makes that stuff up. Now that's 2 people in the media who have reported some sort of dissension.

So you are saying he didn't make up the story about Patrick Willis talking to people about coming out of retirement? Or when he said Reggie Bush was given permission to gauge interest from other teams while he was with the Saints? Or his confirmed report Phillip Rivers is getting traded to Tenessee for the number 2 pick. He is a hack.

I don't defend anyone in the Alex thread. Please get your emotions together Charlie. Kap may be better, I'm not a fan of Gabbert. Still gotta cheer for the squad. GO NINERS!

Lmao. I am cheering for the squad, and I haven't even wrote Gabbert off yet. I think Kaps better, but I also think Blaine can prove me wrong, and I don't mind giving him the chance to do it. I'm actually nervous about Kap with the injury clause. I heard he got rid of it and I heard he didn't. I dont know which is true, but if he didn't, part of me doesn't even want him on the field.

And yes, you do defend them. You always stick up for them and ask what's wrong with supporting a former player and what not, when some of those dudes have obsessed over a QB to the point they don't even watch the 49ers if he's playing the same time. You're message was a good one, just thought it was strange that people obsessing over a QB on our own team bothered you

We're talking about Rat Baalke.

Yes, but Baalke refused to give Denver our number one and Kaepernick for their backup drum major.

Naw it's Bleacher Report. They just let people like Jason Cole and Mike Freeman say whatever they want cause integrity doesn't exist in media anymore.
I think this is awfully overblown. If the price is right, I don't doubt Baalke would have problem trading Kaepernick. But here's the thing... It's been that way since last season ended. This isn't new news. We've been waiting for the right offer for a while. This is hardly an issue. These people don't know all the facts, and I'm not buying it's anything close to what they're trying to make it out to be.

Ultimately, I don't think he gets moved anytime soon.
This thread just got lit up again!!
I'm telling you guy's, there was no reason for it to take so long to name Gabbert the starter if everyone from coaches to FO were on board. Kap missed half the pre season and looked so bad against GB, they could've easily ended the QB battle there, and started getting Blaine ready for the season if he was who everyone wanted.

My guess was it's the FO that doesn't want the guy that could cost them if he gets hurt again to play, and that seems to be the case.

Absolutely. I would say the 49ers only have like 6-8 players they wouldn't trade. I just feel like this kinda crap happens every year to intentionally cause conflict in the FO and Head Coach.

Exactly right! Whether you agree with CK or not, the team has been ready to move on if they can find a replacement...maybe if they can't. But he's made it very difficult for them to do so. The surgeries make him very iffy in a trade, the team won't get value for him, and now with the protests GMs will be less inclined to take a shot.

Still hoping some team will be desperate enough, or he plays well here and outplays Gabbert. Either way the team will win.

i think chip summed it up well when he said blaine did alot of good things to build upon moving forward. as far the long term future who knows but for right now. its blaine. he may not be perfect but he is a good leaders. lays it out on the line. knows the little things he has to work on and i think that will be just fine for this year... now if ck goes insane in the next few weeks. lights up practice and forces chip to make a decision.. well thats good to.. whoever he thinks is the best man for the job.. it is so nice to have a coach we can trust
