Kaepernick's interceptions seem to fall on him. At least, I do not remember any picks that were from tipped passes or from balls that bounced off the receivers hands. Nor, do I remember any picks that came from a receiver running a bad route.

I would think that both trying to force a ball into a receiver and not reading the defense correctly are mental errors.

Last year, Kaepernick had an 2.09 % interception rate. Last year was rife with off the field tension.

Kaepernick has thrown 7 of his 21 regular season picks against Seattle. Seattle has a very good pass defense, but to some extent I do think that Kaepernick has looked either mentally or emotionally sharp when playing Seattle.

So what I read from this is against "most" NFL teams, Kap does very well.
Haters, take it away!!
His interception rate would be off the charts if he would at least throw his "average pick ratE" against Seattle.

This. Brady, Rivers, and Rodgers are the only guys recently that have had their way with that defense. Although Kap has thrown most of his picks against them, most of them were late in games, when Seattle forced us away from running, and started pounding our defense with Lynch. The deck was stacked against him in those situations IMO. I think he will get better against them too.

Kap took his job in 2012. Same team same players but Jim liked the way Kap played better. That is all the comparison I need in this thread quite honestly and I was a Smith supporter

me to. the s**tty pass protection, lack of knowing, by the coaches, how to use a play clock or time outs, moronic play calling to the point where ck and gore changed plays in the huddles to plays that worked plus the defense knew what we were going to do before we did it, and drops by many wide outs led by the former number 15 hurt both quarterbacks in my opinion

ck showed me guts when he and gore willed the team down the field in the title game vs seattle after it would have been easy to give up after seeing what took place to bowman,, ck's only issue was that he opted to again go to the former wide out at crunch time and just missed throwing a perfect ball. thank god he has better and more weapons to go to now when we get back into that situation again

torry will be there faster, be a much bigger target and will jump higher than the former number 15. we got this.

honda said nothing wrong here
An exciting year for CK! T Smith, a healthy VD, addition of Bush and not having Roman feed Gore to the stacked D...fun!
yup dtg, it will be a great yr for CK. One thing tho...now he has to carry us. We go far this yr and if CK doesn't carry us, we go nowhere. Boom or bust for him this yr, and we need a large boom. Most of our leadership guys are gone, or still on the fence whether they play. CK is going to have to go Joe Montana for us or it will be one long season. And I don't mean as our primary RB, either.

No Montana required....Kaep can just throw to RBs all game and we will be cool
Speaking of which, what exactly happened to the passes to RBs out of the backfield last yr? yeah, that's right , HaRo. They didn't do passes to RBs out of the backfield and not too many yrs ago, Frank had some 60 or so. How in the heck can that part of the game have been so completely ignored by HC and OC? Oh, right. Those two yokels didn't do Offense.
Well, can't wait for season to start so i can get the bad taste in my mouth and the dark clouds out of my mind on a talent waste of 4 long yrs. By rights we would have had 2, and a shot at a 3rd SB, but no we get NO "O" harbaw/romn. Jeez, what a frigging waste. And for all you remaining harbaw fans out there (there are no romn fans), he's gone...mercifully, along with the best talent we have had in ages. To my mind wasted. But jed and baalke did learn one thing. Another twosome never to choose again. Granted Jed went from awful with ERickson to bad with noln, to most horriblest with Sing. Harbaw reminded me of the "all hat and no cattle" guy, who was just incredibly lucky to inherit such talent...only to flush it down the drain. Am glad we fired most everybody except JT and the Rathman. If HaRo had inherited the team noln had he would have had a worse record. I put harbaw down as the luckiest guy to ever coach in the NFL. All that talent and 2 blown SB shots, plus a 3rd we could have had...against a weak league, relatively, at the time. It was perfect and harbaw screwed us all over.
