Hmmm. I find it interesting that those ex 49er players that decided to take cheap indirect shots at Kaepernick, both had pedestrian games yesterday. Funny thing is both of their new QB's they decided to praise also had pedestrian games yesterday. How ironic?

Lets just hope Kaep was hiding his improvements in the preseason and they are gonna bust out tonight. Only way we are gonna win.

I saw quite a few veteran QBs miss or not throw to wide open receivers yesterday along with some making some dumb choices.
Be patient folks. You know the key controllable factor we can be proud of #7? He does work his ass off to try to get better. That's really all he can do and all we can ask for.

You must be mistaken. All the other QBs have 100% accuracy ratings and never make mistakes.

Fixed.
LOL! I'm hoping the line plays better given a settled depth chart. It was really murky in preseason as they were rotating guys in and out of the game...hard for the guys to find that chemistry needed. Hope they channel the Chief's line that played above expectations!

I know this has been talked about in here many many times...Wilson is elite and it has nothing to do with system BS. Yesterday the "elite" QB had a QB rating of 48.9, had 41attempts (career high) and was sacked 6 times!
Once again system and scheme play a huge part in Wilson's success....I pray that Seattle continues to think Wilson is a in the pocket QB who sliced up secondaries because he's far from that. I hope our coaching staff realizes what we have with Kap and call plays to his stegnths for a change!

Lol its the first game of the season. Classic overreacting. Luck is a legit top 10 QB in the league. Don't act like you wouldn't kill to have him
I wouldn't! He's garbage in the playoffs!
The D coordinator he played against yesterday is one that has Luck's number. It was mentioned in an article I read that was predicting games and explaining their reasons for the picks.

The comparisons between Kaepernick and S Young are becoming more and more true to me. Young had the advantage of having perhaps the best QB coach of all times, Kaepernick has had a hard headed ex-NFL QB as coach for four years.
The funny thing to me is that both coaches saw the raw ability of these two guys and jumped on it. Walsh failed with a number of other projects--super athletes who couldn't really adapt to NFL football. Harbaugh didn't seem to help Kaepernick much with the short game or in game management aspect of the offense. Is it because Kaepernick can't get it? Or did JH not understand how to get the best from CK? Guess we will see over the next couple of years!

RW is not elite. He's a media darling thats why he gets credit, but his QB skills are less than Kaep's and even Alex Smith's. He runs around in circles until someone gets up...the classic Madden glitch. He's one knee injury away from becoming the next RGIII.

Classic. Crabtree just questioned CKs work ethic. You actually believe what the guy is saying after that?
The second part is even funnier.
I believe Gore's comment that "Luck is the smartest QB he's worked with" is being interpreted to mean...CK dumb.
I don't read that from Gore, I think it is just that how farther along Luck is as a passer. Doesn't mean the other is dumb. Like you can have bright physics people, then there is Einstein.
In the end no matter it is how many superbowls you win and lead your team to. Example-Peyton and Marino, as talented as they were, remind me how many SB do they have?

I liked this, too.

This is a big year for Kap. I'm going to compare him to 2014 Kap, not some other QB. I'd like to see small improvement in all areas.

Good idea. Just as we do with other players in every sport...or should!
Edit: just in case your point was aimed at my comparison between CK and Young...my point was more about the coaching they have received and my hope that Young is correct in saying Kaepenick is a better version of himself!
