Well another way we'll win is if we're just a better team. Ever consider that?
This is your year Kap! Do us right. Make us proud!
I dont have a lot of patience for Kap this season. I really need to see him take that next step. I want to see poise, situational awareness and a willingness to take the four and 5 yard gain to move methodically down the field if necessary.

just hoping like hell our line will be competent enough physcially and mentally to give him more than 1 1/2 second to throw so we can see his improvement. im afraid he'll just be rattled like last season if our front 5 are shaky and dont pan out....

This is the crux of the matter! Everything depends on this! No matter how well CK plays he can't do it by himself!

Ya, he needs to do everything he did during the Super Bowl run. Once he demonstrates that..... Oh wait

Yep if he doesn't improve its time to cut ties and go get a new QB

Yes our top 5 run game and D had nothing to do with the super bowl run.

They didn't have much to do with the NFC championship game that year. That's for sure. lol

Record performance in the playoffs helped to... Ask a packer fan.

And Kaep had a LOT to do with that run. Only a fool blinded by hate would say otherwise.

Could you please tell us how Kap wasn't the biggest part of our SB run

lol KAP had more to do with it than the defense. defense gave up way more points and we had to constantly come back all post season

It was not, dtg. I was just saying that as the 2015 season unfolds, I'll be looking at 2015 Kap and seeing how he compares to 2014 Kap, not Luck, not Cam, or Dalton, etc.

Got it! I enjoy the comparison to other QB when some context is supplied but that takes time and a great deal of effort. OL, WRs, field position...so many variables.

A good example of context that is usually missing is field position! I'm hoping they use Hayne on punt returns because the guy is fearless and might mean the difference in a couple of games. Imagine CK starting at the 35 yard line on average! Of course, teams weren't using top 53 playes on STs as they will be during the season.

Agreed. And that's why it is difficult to compare QB X vs QB Y, especially young QBs where there is a smaller sample size. When it's all said and done this season, I'm not that worried about 'how does Kap compare to Wilson'. Although it's fun to discuss that, if Wilson regresses and Kap ends up being better by unanimous decision, that isn't what I'm really interested in. I want to see Kap 2015 being better than Kap 2014, and I hope that it is a no brainer comparison.
