Poise is dependent on the offensive line being able to give him a chance to show poise. I am hoping they can.
The obvious statement is obvious.
However, part of poise is being calm when things are chaotic around you. Remember Eli Manning in the 2011 NFC Championship. We were in his face and in his backfield all night, but he was calm in the storm and delivered some beautiful passes. I couldn't believe how well he played that night. Go back and watch the game. That's an extreme example, but poise in chaos is possible.

Years ago when we went to the dog races, my mother would always bet on the dog that took a dump because he'd feel "perky". Damned if she didn't always win.

This season rests on Kaepernick's ability beat pressure via the pass. He's going to see it relentlessly until he does, and running won't stop it. Even if it's only a four man rush, they'll have their "ears pinned back" like it's 3rd and ten most every down until and if he makes them pay.

Good example, Baas was on that team.
I am worried Kaepernick will have no time and the team will have a hard time evaluating his play. Starting over with Gabbert would blow. Hopefully the line starts to jell, the run game can keep teams honest, the coaches can put a game plan together than can help Kaepernick and he shows that poise and can shine.

Loved it.
The Zoner who unapologetically dismisses ex Niners had it right. I get it now.
I don't hate Gore but his comments rubbed me the wrong way. This guy you'd imagine would at least be cool with his ex QBs.
Alex continues to show his class -- had most legit reason to be pissed at 49er organization since Joe Montana, and never took anything but the high road.

I agree with you.
An no, Gabbert is not the answer. I just want to see Kap fulfill his potential.

Kaep is so selfish. Blocking for Hyde???? Totally not a team player!!!
Oh wait...
So glad the Kaep haters are suffering through this... Seahawks may have picked up a few fans tonight

He looks good and poised tonight, I'm happy with his play, but I think our season is about Hyde as of now, he runs hard and smart.

Dude. Really? We are winning a game, and you have something to complain about. We have barely thrown the ball and we are using mostly 3 tight ends. You're probably just upset Craptree is gone.

Kap need to have a wider base so that he can shorten that throw.

I'm really liking Kaep tonight. He doesn't have huge stats, but he looks poised and delivering a nice ball. Line is playing outstanding for him and Hyde.
