Pitt will be far more relentless....looking for Kap to be fearless on a short week.

pitt doesn't have the defensive players they once had. Also, Lebeau isn't running the ship. With that said, Pitt will oppose Kap with a BIG CHALLENGE. I have a feeling that Hyde won't go off against Pitt...

Kap, although had mistakes this game, showed what we needed to see with the short passing game and going through progressions. Very good game to keep me hopeful he will improve to a quality starting QB in this league.

SMH This guy ^^^
I TOLD YOU SO

trent dilfer pointed it out. this thread is going to be quiet this week.
I saw significant improvement keeping his eyes down field. I know he helped to improve himself, but I'm also going to give the coaching staff credit.
Looks like ne can learn a few things! Great job of letting him play his game, while he learns to play the pocket passing game, nice balance.

You serious?
Read 1, read 2, read 3, run? oops there is read 4 and he is...open. When was the last time anybody said that about Kap. Wow, what a difference a real HC, a real OC and a real QB coach have made...plus, you could see kap put some air under a few balls, a perfect touch. When he got excited on a few plays well into the second half, he did revert to the high hard one...ie, his super fast fastball. But only a couple. The rest of the time he just played fantastic. Congrats kap, great game. Great game plan, great coaching.

Did you see him in the end zone? The line gave him time and he was easily a top 15 QB, but he made some throws that absolutely lacked touch.
BTW, he made great improvements in his game. He overthrew/underthrew a few balls in the beginning, but once he got in rhythm, he was very good. It also helps when the offensive line dominates!!!
Analysis just said...the SF OL is really good! LOL! What did they say before the game?
A few missed throws but overall he did some things we haven't seen him do. Now he needs to connect with Smith on some deep throws and this offense will be just fine.

Fair enough -

Pitts D on at home on a long rest and an embarrassing loss will be jacked.

and now they have tape on this O.

as you said...Kap will have to make more throws.

all this being said i believe Niners win in Pitt.
