That's very solid. Well above average. Puts him at 9th in Week 1.

Good game. Will have to re-watch. However there were 2 or 3 throws where you just loses all form and then tries to throw with just his arm and his accuracy is off. That throw to Vernon should have been a TD.

So true, unfortunately. People dwell on the fantasy stats.
Kap played a hell of a game, don't care what anyone else says. Saw it with my own eyes.

I know this is deemed by some as a disparaging comment for a QB but I mean this in the most positive sense, Kap did a great job of managing the game.
We all know Kap has the ability to make dynamic plays but it was great to see him play a smart consistent game. He performed well in the pocket, reacted nicely to pressure while keeping his eyes downfield and going through his progression. He had a few off target throws and a couple drops by receivers but all in all I like the direction this O is headed in.

Yes he did, scanning the field and waiting for the last sceond before running.

Thats the problem....Fantasy ruined the game. People only look at the stats to show if you are a good player. If you dont throw for 400+ and 3TDs you are not a good QB.

Funny thing is; you can spot the morning newspaper guys posts from a mile away. Kinda depressing too, you can tell they don't watch but want to have something to say.

Nope...he showed great progress on every single weakness that he has...but it wont be good enough for the people who secretly or not so secretly don't want him to get better. They will simply move the goal post. The ones who said stats don't mean anything and the eye test is all that matters will flip flop and talk about production, the ones that talk about scanning the field and climbing the pocket will switch to accuracy sight the two (gasp) off target throws as proof he sucks.
Basically until he is league MVP and...not or mind you, a Superbowl champion they will continue to bash and probably if that day ever came they would act like they were behind him the whole time.
