Kap is finally starting to make those easy throws the touch, the reads by no means is he a polished qb but it's extremely encouraging to see those little things. 1 weeks at a time fellas

So lucky it was shoulder to shoulder! Broken rib, concussion...many bad things can come from a hit like that one!

He bounced up like nothing happened. Kaepernick is a tough QB.

Yeah I was thinking it looked like a potential broken collarbone. Glad to see he got right back up.
the funny thing is now everyone is saying he is just like alex smith lol.
no he's not like alex smith. he's like kap. the difference has been all or nothing. if he can do all AND a little then you can't stop him. make the easy throws and make all the throws alex smith can only dream about being able to pull off.
it was 1 game they kept the safety deep and he took what they gave him for an easy win.
that is what every qb is supposed to do.
when they creep up or play man to man expect 250 yards passing and 100 yards rushing.
Lol
Kap played a smart game and the bright lights as he has proved in the playoffs ain't too bright for him. Then he showed his toughness on that hit he took from Barnes. He got the 1st down took the hit then pushed him down stood over him shoved the ball down his throat and was the first off the mat and back to his huddle. It was if to say WTF you think you just did? That ain't faze me at all! We're playing to his strengths and this zone blocking and running scheme is ideal for Carlos so this also helps out Colin. Now we can make defenses have to adjust to what we're doing and not the other way around

Kap played well. He was comfertable, making reads, and running when needed.

He's not going to have sexy stats unless we get invllved in shootouts. We are a ground and pound team.

But what we saw yesterday was a good thing.

And yeah, his touch is developing. Watch out league.

I thought he's a Ferrari not a Prius

He is but doesn't mean you have to floor it.=, increasing the risk of a crash. But if we need to, he's shown he can, when the risk is worth it (we're down by a lot).

This. If he starts to hit those on a consistent basis, he'll have it.

Our season will go as far as Kap and Hyde will take us. The D is good.
Good performance by Kap. 9th best QBR rating in Week 1.

8 guys caught passes yesterday. Good distribution and an indication he is making multiple reads.

Yup, loved the way the offense was running. Kap hung in the pocket and stuck with his reads longer than he has in the past, and the offensive play-calling was very good too. Created a lot of easy completions to different players.

it's always been the lack of easy options. now he has the easy options to get positive yards and extend drives and plays.
the play calling on the game sealing drive was a thing of beauty. we finished with a TOUCHDOWN

Absolutely. Once they settled down and stopped hurting themselves with penalties, the offense was rolling. Our running game is going to rip teams to shreds this year, and the play-action game was highly efficient. I read somewhere that Kap completed a career high 10 passes off play action, and at one point completed 9 straight passes. It's easy when the scheme and play-calling suits your players.
