Bags on Kap last year even admitting he doesn't know what the coaches are saying...and refusing to acknowledge that he was being put in really tough situations with poor OL play, slow receivers, predictable offense with deep drops...etc.
This time apparently he can't just say Kap played well and made key plays to keep drives going and mentions how coaches hid him.
He may be able to break down film pretty well but he's definitely biased and his comments make that very clear. And just like the rest of us he can only guess at who the reads were on a certain play.
Good point! He gets a lot of mileage from former coaches for never blaming their brethren. He's an expert because it's the players fault. A bit of hyperbole on my part but NFLN is the same way. Nolan was protected until...umm...he still hasn't been criticized. I guess it's understandable given the short term nature of coaches jobs.
I'm hoping NFLN starts hiring some decent ex-players. Can't stand to listen to Deion or Irvin. Maybe a former 9er...Rice? Craig? JT and his truck? Anyone but a Cowboy or an east coast guy.
