Of course, bush's injury also

No. Brown still would've caught those bombs even if they were on the sideline.

If it all clicks with kap he could will us to a few wins. It sea continues to stutter and az doesn't continue to play well, we could still be in competition for the west by week 8. Big if since we got tough opponents.

And everyone needs to participate.

That's what it'll take to win the division this year. Kap has to be the reason we win, and Hyde needs to stay healthy.

I don't think the defense is as bad as they looked against the Steelers, and I don't think they're as good as they looked against the Vikings. The truth is somewhere in between.

But if Kap plays like a upper-tier QB, we can win a lot of games despite our flaws. It's a QB driven league.

True this. Sunday was a lesson learned the hard way. Better now then later. We can't run that stupid D against Rogers.
One of my biggest gripes was promoting Chryst to OC. Because he was the RZ play caller from the past regime, i honestly wanted a new perspective to the offense. I like some of what Chryst is doing, but i don't like a lot of the selection down in the RZ.

Many times i can remember Kap going spread in past games and slinging it well, we shouldn't do that all the time but we should mix it up play to play more. Not take whole drives or halves of bashing our head into the wall.

I think Kap can carry these guys a lot better now. We should let him have more of a say in that. Get Hyde his touches but know we are an injury away from having Bush as a primary back.

I'm proud to see Kaepernicks game improve. His hard work is definitely paying of. The game appears to be slower for him it's just too bad our Oline looks like crap.
Go kap
Am i the only one who think Kaepernick didn't play that well? He didn't do anything in the first half, All his stats came when the Niners were out of the game.

yes you're the only one..... did u not see the linemen allowing free rushers to the quarterback in the first half..... and all game with the drops, boldin with 2, Davis with 1 and miller with 1 for a td....

Really like the progress from Kaepernick so far & hope it continues for him. I do hope they try to put a little more responsibility on his shoulders & let him try to win a game soon instead of bring us back or have to make extreme plays just to keep us in the game. Go Kaepernick!
The game plan against the Cardinals aggressive defense has to be to take some shots down the field early on. If not, then they will continue to blitz and get away with it.

We gotta put the speed on the field and open their a$$es up!

Yeah, but didn't you guys hear, Kap sucks because he doesn't throw it deep enough. Unlike last year when he sucked because he never threw it short....lol

The one the that hasn't been mentioned is Kaep completed passes to TEN different receivers yesterday.

If i had the time i'd go back to previous years threads lol.
-If there is a clean pocket he'll step up.
-If there are short route options he'll hit them
-If you give him speed he can make magic happen
-If you give him more receiving options other than 1wr and 2 tight ends and a full back for most of the game he will spread the ball around.

Every single time we go to the gun and spread offense kap is an absolute killer. Every single time. He could actually just run the offense that brady is running lol. Shotgun everybody run those crossing routes and sometimes a deep one with the back as a check down.

I believe this as well. Just get the ball out quick. I and others keep going back to that Arizona game last year.
I'm usually one of kaps bigger critics, but im loving the improvement ive seen from him thus far. A lot of growth. He's not the problem right now. It's our secondary, oline, and wrs.. our dline can use some help as well
Yep if we wanna run the ball we gotta pass to set it up.

He had several drops including one TD, a fumbled hand off early on. The Steelers poured it on early and often. Kap did what he had to do to get us back in it. No picks. He wasnt bad or the problem at all.

No, you're not the only one, but considering the other posters who share your opinion, you're not in good company.

Same old song and dance from the same tired chorus ... lol
