To all the people here who are either blind or stupid, commenting on the offensive line is plain retarded. Kaepernick could not make most college teams. Nobody listened when I said he suffers from the Steve Sax syndrome, he is not accurate, never was, and if the niners start him next week and continue to start davis over Hayne is absolutely bizarre. He has wide open guys all the time and has just over 40 yards in completions with most of those run after catch. Boldin, the only receiver with two catches, get him the $#%^^ out of there or there may be a call for a new President. My dad used to refer to the 49er coaching staff as if they were locked in a room together, saying if they had a collective BRAIN amongst them, THEY WOULD TAKE IT OUT AND PLAY WITH IT.
Are the forty niners really this bad, I don't think it is possible. Theses guys are playing as if they have no leadership and you've got to point your finger at sissy
boy Tomsula, mr atta boy.

Others can s**t on kap all they want, but this game has been the exception not the rule in his career, that's why I'm eager to see how he responds.
His last 2 interceptions he as all the time in the world to throw. Just terrible passes. I'd have to see the first 2 interceptions because I don't remember.
He side armed the s**t out of the second one. Completely on him for it being a pick.

no, teams figured him out and he's been getting worse ever since.
Kinda reminds me of kordel stewart.
on the 1st possession the offensive line was getting pushed into the back field on run and passing plays.
2nd possession same thing.
how long until you say we need to move this pocket because these guys are playing bad?
i mean hyde had to work magic in order to gain positive yards and usually had to deal with someone in the backfield.
this does not absolve kap on having his worst day as a pro. but it is something to think about along with everything else we've seen from this team which just isn't playing hard enough imo. on either side of the ball. the only unit that has been solid for us has been our run defensive line. that's it.

Man, this is going to be a banner day for the haters.
Why is it that any legitimate criticism of Kap is automatically "trolling" or "hating"? Lets argue like adults, not 12 year olds please.
This was the main reaction of alex lovers when alex was criticized. This will end up the same way. Kap is horrible and he will not be here next season. No way with how much he is due to earn next season. He just isn't worth it.

He is predicting more of the needless illegitimate negativity that has been persistent this season. Losses tend to embolden posters in this regard. I don't think we need to worry about posts from guys like Marvin, Thl or Jonny in their analysis...it might be very negative...but rational and explained. We could all write a book of negativity based on the past two games but if it's just carping--venting--is it really useful?

Interesting take on NFL network comparing Palmer and Kaepernick this game. Palmer taking advantage of the short throws and easy dinks and dunks, while Kaep doesnt even bother to. I agree Kaep tries to play too aggressive; ironically opposite of his predecessor. Both failed projects.
How the hell did we end up with this after having Montana, Young, and hell even Garcia. Christ, it's frustrating

The reality of Kap's play and his potential actually falls somewhere between those who believe he's "garbage", and those who still think he's a good QB and capable of reaching elite status. SOME of his bad play and bad decisions, can be blamed by the poor O-line, esp on that right side. It seemed everyone but the 9'ers knew Pears was mediocre at best, yet we chose him to anchor that right side. We also chose to ignore the availability of a Pro-Bowl guard in Mathis, to go with the guys we had. That sealed our fate on that side of the line HOWEVER, Kap is still making very bad decisions and equally bad throws, when he's not under undue pressure. He's also missing (not seeing) very open receivers, also when he's not under pressure. But, blaming the entire loss on him is unfair. When a team scores that many points, 2 weeks in a row, it's not the QB's fault. Sure, he has to shoulder some of the blame, esp with 4 int's, but let's not let a dislike of Kap cloud the real issue, and that is, we're just not a very good team. The Minnesota game was an aberration and we have a very long way to go before we reach "good", or even fair, for that matter. This could be a very long season. I can already hear the calls for Jared Goff in the next draft!

LOL...no, I think you covered it! Very depressing day but I'm still at the young team/new scheme stage of fandom. I won't start crying for a new coach until midseason if things don't improve.

Worst game of his career. Just totally and completely looked out of sync, was underthrowing everything, not sure if he is injured or something but man did he look terrible today.

There are always NFL backups that can be developed, if you are smart enough to identify them. Hell, Steve Young was a failed starter. I was hoping we'd trade for Cousins in the off season. He's not proven yet, but Mike Shannahan knows him well and said he'd be a top 10 qb. But, you need an offensive head coach to develop a qb, and that we don't have.

That question came to mind when he underthrew that deep pass to a wide open receiver in the 3rd. He would normally make that pass or over throw...never seen him under throw it like that. But it happens...hope it doesn't rock him too much.

Go ahead and throw WRs in there for Patton's dumb ass penalty in the first half. That was as complete a loss as I can remember. Kap played easily his worst game in his career.

he needs to adapt and he hasn't.
the 1st 2 interceptions were bad decisions mixed with crazy pressure.
the last 2 were just really bad throws.
but when your running back is getting the ball at the same time the defensive linemen is there to meet him on most runs and when you drop back and there isn't an escape route to either side or in front of you. you cannot succeed.
kap played unbelievably bad today.
why does his bad play always define who he is but when he plays good (which is more times than not) it doesn't mean anything?
this week the loss was on him. until we actually commit to opening up the offense this is going to happen. don't go tween. we just saw what a tween offense will do.
