how long until you say we need to move this pocket because these guys are playing bad?
i mean hyde had to work magic in order to gain positive yards and usually had to deal with someone in the backfield.
this does not absolve kap on having his worst day as a pro. but it is something to think about along with everything else we've seen from this team which just isn't playing hard enough imo. on either side of the ball. the only unit that has been solid for us has been our run defensive line. that's it.
The Bill Belichick defensive philosophy is to take away what you do best, and make them beat you with what you don't do as well. To win in this league, you've got to be able to do it all, and Kaepers**t just can't do that.

Is game over for Kap.
There is nothing else left to discuss about Kap, in fact they can shut down this thread.

Adrian maybe you are right, maybe not. Either we are terribly bereft of talent or we have terribly bad coaching. To have Ceeps calls figured out like that....is a horrible sign. Predictable. DC...called a horrible game. JT oversaw it all. Man, Adrian, i wonder...is this team a bottom basement rebuilder or not? I wish there were something besides Hayn'es return to take away, but if so, i dont see it.

90% will include time to move on because he had the worst game of his career.
no, teams figured him out and he's been getting worse ever since.
Kinda reminds me of kordel stewart.
on the 1st possession the offensive line was getting pushed into the back field on run and passing plays.
2nd possession same thing.

Good post! Run, run, pass on 3rd and long...just not a very impressive game called. Yikes...hope Chryst has someting going on in that great Ivy League brain of his!
he needs to adapt and he hasn't.
the 1st 2 interceptions were bad decisions mixed with crazy pressure.
the last 2 were just really bad throws.
but when your running back is getting the ball at the same time the defensive linemen is there to meet him on most runs and when you drop back and there isn't an escape route to either side or in front of you. you cannot succeed.
kap played unbelievably bad today.
why does his bad play always define who he is but when he plays good (which is more times than not) it doesn't mean anything?
this week the loss was on him. until we actually commit to opening up the offense this is going to happen. don't go tween. we just saw what a tween offense will do.
This offense needs to throw more on first down. There are easy yards to steal there and in the process we would be upsetting some offensive tells (namely first down run percentage).
Guys act like kap does this every game. He hasn't, you don't have a career rating of 90 and over a 2 to 1 TD to int ratio playing like he did today.

A major portion of it goes all the way back to Harbaugh.
Harbaugh drafted him and called him great. However, The Great Quarterback Whisperer proved to be a fraud. He did almost nothing to develop Kapernick as an NFL quarterback. To make matters worse, he allowed his ego to overrule his better judgement by sending Alex Smith to Kansas City where he has shown how to deal with a weak OL and still have success. Smith has proved to be not only the better person but the better quarterback while Kaepernick has continued to struggle when facing a quality team.
The previous two games, if you look closely, showed CK really not playing at a level that allows the team a legit chance to win. Blame it on a weak OL, and some of the blame belongs there, but his inability to read defenses and find the quick open receiver killed the team today, and to a large degree, last week.
In looking back at pre-season games, even though they were against second teamers, Gabbert showed how to deal with quick pressure in a way that Kaepernick has never shown. (I can't believe I just typed that but it is true.) Blaine Gabbert showed that he capable of playing in a way CK has never shown.
I love Kaepernick's back story but he just does not have the makeup to play against a tough defense and survive.

We are a bottom basement rebuilder. Hopefully they fire the staff, draft a qb and get a vet qb in to play next year.
Basically, theres no way in s**t Tomsula is a better coach than Harbaugh was.

The way the cards were walking up and down the field however they pleased, I don't think this one is all on Kap. Most of it, starting in a huge hole like that, but not 100%. lol

dj, there was a major league screwup in not giving kap a lot more snaps than the 17 he got all PS. Shame on them....JT, GEEp....Unless there was something we don't know about.

Lol. He would be worse if not for Kurt.
