Kap is what Kap is, a One read and run it QB. Nothing more nothing less.

Get off the one read schtick. He's definitely shown he is more than a one read QB if you've ever bothered to actually watch a game. Yes, he played abysmally today, but it was a matter of poor throws rather than incorrect reads. Get your criticism right.

Exactly, kap played like crap....but the one read b******t has been debunked several times.

Objection

He's not a one read guy.....has shown several examples even going back to his first year as a starter. Yet that's always the first thing brought up. It's lazy critism as JoeBart said.

Ok fine, he's a 2 read guy, 1st read a 49er target, 2nd read an Arizona target.

To what?

I think it's true and false. But mostly true.
When things are good, Kaep goes through his progressions. When things are bad or he's one and done. Look at the second half of the game. He had time and still didn't go through his progressions
he actually did. if you watched the broadcast they showed where nobody was open they showed that he looked on both sides and nobody was open so he took off.

It's perfectly acceptable to be critical of Kap after this game. And rightfully so. He played a dreadful game. But get the criticism right. He made very, very bad throws coupled with bad decisions. His reads weren't incorrect though. Guys were open he just threw late or threw off his back foot because of pressure. That's not a "one read" issue. It is a decision making process problem or accuracy problem.

Harbaugh drafted him and called him great. However, The Great Quarterback Whisperer proved to be a fraud. He did almost noting to develop Kapernick as an NFL quarterback. To make matters worse, he allowed his ego to overrule his better judgement by sending Alex Smith to Kansas City where he has shown how to deal with a weak OL and still have success. Smith has proved to be not only the better person but the better quarterback while Kaepernick has continued to struggle when facing a quality team.

The previous two games, if you look closely, showed CK really not playing at a level that allows the team a legit chance to win. Blame it on a weak OL, and some of the blame belongs there, but his inability to read defenses and find the quick open receiver killed the team today, and to a large degree, last week.

In looking back at pre-season games, even though they were against second teamers, Gabbert showed how to deal with quick pressure in a way that Kaepernick has never shown. (I can't believe I just typed that but it is true.) Blaine Gabbert showed that he capable of playing in a way CK has never shown.

I love Kaepernick's back story but he just does not have the makeup to play against a tough defense and survive.

I totally agree.

One game in which the QBs exchanged turnovers. Does not even begin an reasonable comparison.
What harm is it going to do to let Kap have more starts? We're going nowhere this season...keep him in the game so he can be properly evaluated. I definitely don't think Gabbert is a viable starter right now.

No. Kap made the mistakes. and then he didn't get any help When something isn't working every quarterback in the nfl needs help from their coaches to put them in positions to be successful. period.

I'm not defending his play TODAY. TODAY is not an indictment of who kap Truly is, if when he has good games and great ones they are not an indictment of who he truly is.

when you watch the tape can you add up how many plays guys were open?

Is Kap not seeing them or not trusting himself....?

A great QB can change a franchise though. Peyton in his prime can make this team respectable.

Rodgers took one of the worst lines in football to the post season. Enough said

So he's not one of these 2 HoF qbs. OMG!!!

You guys are ridiculous.

What is ridiculous is we plan on paying Kaep elite money

Pretty sure you haven't look at Kap's contract. It looks like elite money. It is far from it, and able to be dropped in any off season. It's fun to post. Even better when you know what you're talking about. lol
where can I watch the press conference?

Apparently if you aren't a HoF QB you deserve to be benched.

Hopefully Baalke can scout us a college qb with a previous ACL tear or two who will be a future HOFer in this upcoming draft.

Dude I'm not getting drug into your s**t....if you really want to believe he's a one read guy then all the power to you. Doing so though, ignored actual football and what's going on out on the field.

Do you know what the word "plan" means?

Why?

Did you see the way he operated in PS?

First picture his arm is hit while throwing.
Second one is a great play by the CB. But did you see that Talib didn't walk into the endzone in that int

silver lining.

but seriously plays like that second INT cannot happen AT ALL...we are a struggling team that put ourselves a in holes like that.

I didn't mind that 3rd INT...or was it 4th? too many I can't remember.. but the one right after halftime. Throw wasn't perfect and CB made a great diving catch. But we tried to throw down field.

Hope we can start games by being aggressive.... No Blake Bell or Miller out there.... when McDonald is out there..sure use him...but if not, don't stick with the jumbo runs... Throw the ball around....run from the Spread formation. I think Hyde can do damn will with the little guys out there on defense, IF we had our receivers out there.

Can you elaborate on his postgame interview for us east coasters

as expected, owned up to everything...100% his fault we lost like that.

says that his performance to start the game, made it worse for everyone else....and something like the other players shouldn't be looked down on for their performances. Just how I took it.

Just says he can't try to make those throws....and will need to get ready this week because we have the Packers next.
