The best INT came when he had a pocket for over 4 seconds and no one near him.
Even if the online blocks he kicks rocks

They were both thrown late...the receiver was open but had to stop and wait for the ball, giving the DB time to jump. I suppose you could say the receiver could have come back for the ball on each, but those aren't the type of routes that usually require it. The first was mainly due to CK being hit but the second was antipating pressure rather than stepping into the throw.
I've certainly been critical of CK at times but can't recall a game this disasterous. As a matter of fact...I can't think of a game for any QB this bad in recent memory. Last week he was moving the ball and playing well but just couldn't get it into the end zone...this week...
Exactly!
Did you really believe Matthieu was going to say anything intelligent during his press conference?
It was just a s**t show by Kap, nothing scheme related. They made plays off of his mistakes much like the Bears game last year.

Not really.... basic copy of last years win at the cowboys where everybody gets all excited about kap then flopping the rest of the season...
Not even remotely similar to last year. Our defense was atleast serviceable. The losses on defense along with Baalkes questionable drafting has decimated the defense.

This game is a simple reality check for those who thought we were something else including myself. We are a depleted team with a quarterback who needs help at other positions in order to perform well. Kap is who he is. He's not going to win by himself any time soon. We need major help at o line and d line. Until then Kap is going to continue to get frustrated and confused. He's not a bad quarterback. He's just not the type that will get you wins by himself. Maybe in a few years he can be but, his growth is obviously stunted. A superstar type WR wouldn't hurt either.

I'd argue that that is essentially true for any QB in this league. There are no one man teams in the NFL. Every great NFL QB has help (whether it's from WRs or a decent OL).
We need to fix the OL asap...

like was just pointed down on the post game show,
If you run the ball 13 straight times after kaps second int then you are showing everyone and your team that you have Zero confidence in your QB.

Still not sure why he didn't let it rip when he first saw Q. I agree that the WRs shouldn't have had to fight back to the ball.
Not denying pressure impacted his throws, but both receivers were waiting for the ball rather than turning and catching. On those outside throws it is asking for a pick six when you throw the ball two beats after the receiver reaches their route. I'll watch again, but my recollection is that both guys actually stopped waiting for the ball. Not good. I like Kaepernick's upside but this was a horrid day for him...not a big thing in the grand scheme, just a bad day. Most QBs have them from time to time and when the team is struggling it looks worse that just a one off.

That we can agree on. Just a bad day at the office.

In game 1 we played toward Kap's strengths roll out passes and moving the pocket also passing out of 3 TE sets. Seems like we stopped doing that in the last 2 games. am I missing something

You can try and blame everyone else, and sure they contribute, but in the end kaep was doing dumb s**t out there within the circumstances, making poor decisions and bad throws in the situations he found himself. That's all on him being crap, and stealing money from the 49er organization.

One of his worse performances no doubt, but lets not ignore the improvements from the first two games. If he doesn't bounce back against the Packers, then it will be time to panic.
