Sadly, somewhere, Harbaugh is relaxing with a big smile on his face.

Not really..he's probably already focused on his next game.
But I'm sure he smiled for a minute.

We need to make O-Line changes. I think that is evident. Sure Kap had a bad game and we all are reacting accordingly to this, but the fact is one half of our O-Line shouldn't be starting on this team or any team in the NFL.

I doubt it! He is a positive person I don't think he lives to watch 49ers fail. I also think he had a good bond with some of the players that he would be happy to see have success.
Now for the players that pointed their shortcomings and failures at him that might be personal.

Yeah but Hyde can actually run against good defenses, something Frank hasn't been able to do much in the last two years. Cards have a very very good run defense and Hyde was still able to gash them and bust through tackles. Go look at Frank's numbers @ Ari and Seattle last year.

Maybe less commercials & more film/play book study??
Even then he's still not a QB, he's an athlete sure, but clearly not a QB.
Interesting thing, I was listening to Pat Kirwin on NFL radio the other day and he was talking about Parcells yapping about how these youngsters in the NFL become so focused about their "brand" and marketing themselves to make $$$, that they forget about the game that got them there. In essence they lose focus and don't put the time and energy into learning the nuances of the game.
Outside the Mannings, I cannot agree more. Guys like Brady, Rodgers, Brees became commercial Giants after they proved their worth. Whereas "chumps" like Kaep and RGIII spend their time in the gym so they can look good for beats by dre, subway, etc.
Kaep needs to start paying attention to film
any reason you left out Andrew Luck from your "chumps"?

Harbaugh drafted him and called him great. However, The Great Quarterback Whisperer proved to be a fraud. He did almost noting to develop Kapernick as an NFL quarterback. To make matters worse, he allowed his ego to overrule his better judgement by sending Alex Smith to Kansas City where he has shown how to deal with a weak OL and still have success. Smith has proved to be not only the better person but the better quarterback while Kaepernick has continued to struggle when facing a quality team.
The previous two games, if you look closely, showed CK really not playing at a level that allows the team a legit chance to win. Blame it on a weak OL, and some of the blame belongs there, but his inability to read defenses and find the quick open receiver killed the team today, and to a large degree, last week.
In looking back at pre-season games, even though they were against second teamers, Gabbert showed how to deal with quick pressure in a way that Kaepernick has never shown. (I can't believe I just typed that but it is true.) Blaine Gabbert showed that he capable of playing in a way CK has never shown.
I love Kaepernick's back story but he just does not have the makeup to play against a tough defense and survive.
I totally agree.
One game in which the QBs exchanged turnovers. Does not even begin an reasonable comparison.
Ahh, i think i get it. If the other QB throws picks too, then its acceptable. Thanks for enlightening me.
Not even Alice ever threw back to back pick 6's
My issue is with the bolded statement above. I'm not defending Kaep, but that whole paragraph is drivel..
This.... Kaep is not an NFL QB. The sad thing is, this front office basically bet everything on him. We are screwed for quite a while. And Kaep was not Harbaughs guy. That was all our front office trying to make a franchise QB out of him, because Alex was never going to be it.Originally posted by AKfanster:How is this surprising to anybody? Kaep, I thought, was one of the few players who always played with heart.
Unfortunately, as evident lately, that by itself is not enough for a key position like the QB. He, for some reason, is unable to connect the dots...like the other elite QBs seem to do effortlessly time and again. He also doesn't have the elite defense, nor the OLine or any knowledgeable coaches.
I guess he will continue to play the way he has always been. This won't be enough to win games consistently. This teams either gets a good QB, or gets all the other parts upgraded so he can do his bit.
