My problem is that I've always thought Kaepers**t was not able to make accurate reads and decisions quickly enough to keep up with NFL defenses, and that was reinforced by the coaches saying they were simplifying the offense each and every year. That's more an aptitude thing than either an intelligence thing or learnable thing, so I've always been dubious on his improvement potential. Simplifying your offense is a formula to make you defensible.

Baalke said he gave Harbaugh his head on the qb position, and he wrote a contract to give himself a cheap out if it became necessary, I took that to mean he saw what I saw, and would entertain trade offers last summer. The sad part for me is that I think we could have gotten a first round pick a month ago, perhaps to a team likely drafting very high, which we could have used on a qb. After tonight, I think we're looking for a bag of Lays Classic Party Pack.

Ya wanna know the fastest way for me to lose all respect for the opinion of a poster? Intentional misspelling of a players name to make it derogatory.

Lame with a capital "L". Didn't even read the rest.

Sadly, this represents a good chunk of our pathetic fan base right now.

Hopefully most of them will go back to being Raider fans, like they were before the Niners got good again.

The only thing more annoying than altering a name to something derogatory is questioning other people's fandom.

This. I've noticed a few posters think that any little criticism of the team means you're a bandwagon fan or fake fan. Pretty immature, but then again, it is the internet.

I havent watched a single second of Arizona's game but I'm reading that Kaep made the same mistakes he always made? This guy is flat out stupid when he is under pressure.

Time to move on if we get a top10 or even a top5 pick.

Yup. Throwing on his back foot and under throwing balls. All led to 4 picks.

All I could do was laugh though... I knew we were gonna get our ass kicked, if you set your expectations really low it doesn't hurt so bad lol

Yeah that might be true, but he's the worst of the starters.

Also, not having Kilgore in there has hurt us a lot more than most fans realized

We got so many holes on this team the smart move would be to rebuild this o-line

Context needed! Not many posts that one sided...on any side of the issues. Some prefer to avoid the panic a loss like this creates.

There has been some really good discussion tonight, criticizing Kaepernick, the coaches, management...but there are good counter arguments as well. The occassional "fake fan" comment usually comes from frustration.

My disagreement with your post is that responses are to "little criticisms." More like an evening of Don Rickles bad mouthing the team! That's OK too...

Giving up 90ish points in two games paired with our offensive production warrants an onslaught of criticism IMO
As someone who has staunchly supported Kaepernick and kept saying how much potential he has, I'm rapidly losing hope he's ever going to get over the hump. At least with the 49ers, because it's not all CK...he's got a dogs**t OL and an OC that doesn't seem to do him any favors. But as this team likely circles the drain for a couple years CK will be sent packing, and on the right team he might do very well.

Smart move huh? Hope it's that obvious to Trent and his fellow talent evaluators.

He had himself a Jay Cutler sort of day.

I thought we'd lose, but I thought a division game, it was going to be close. I didn't think Tomsula would bring that sh-t from Pittsburgh and make it 10x worse in Arizona.
