I'm more in favor of the front seven on defense but it depends on what happens with the OL. If Boone stay, if Davis "unretires", if Kilgore is healthy, then the need isn't as urgent but this team can't go on without any real sort of pass rush.

Definitely! Venting is fine. But not when it gets in the way of constructive criticism...or distracts from it. Some really good negative food for thought has been served up today/tonight. No problem with that at all.

This. I've noticed a few posters think that any little criticism of the team means you're a bandwagon fan or fake fan. Pretty immature, but then again, it is the internet.
"49ers got blown out by 40 points, terrible game for them"
reply:
"you're a fake fan, go back to being a Raider fan".
Context needed! Not may posts that one sided...on any side of the issues. Some prefer to avoid the panic a loss like this creates.
There has been some really good discussion tonight, criticizing Kaepernick, the coaches, management...but there are good counter arguments as well. The occassional "fake fan" comment usually comes from frustration.
My disagreement with your post is that responses are to "little criticisms." More like an evening of Don Rickles bad mouthing the team! That's OK too...

Yeah but Hyde can actually run against good defenses, something Frank hasn't been able to do much in the last two years. Cards have a very very good run defense and Hyde was still able to gash them and bust through tackles. Go look at Frank's numbers @ Ari and Seattle last year.
Exactly. Gore has been on steady decline. I just hope we turn this around before Hyde is past his prime.
Hyde is defintely better than Gore as of today, but he has a lot of work to do before i compare him to prime gore

I believe in u kap. Get your s**t together. I will give him 2 more years. Unless he plays like this all season. Then im drafting and or/signing someone to compete with him. Its not Gabbert. But he might get his chance if kap doesnt pick it up.

Tim Ryan on the radio broadcast was saying how many easy completions he was leaving on the field and that he could tell the recievers looked frustrated.

Need to pay Boone. We can't have this s**t show again next year.

He had himself a Jay Cutler sort of day.
lol Jay Cutler is 32 f**king years old
Tony Romo must fit in this category too then right? Seeing as Kap has done more in 2 and a half years starting than the 15 or 17 years combined starting that they have? throw in however many years stafford has (with no chants for a replacement after years of being the exact same qb with NO improvement whatsoever on a completely stacked team on both sides of the ball with him being the central reason why they don't go far in the playoffs.
Right?
2 years is enough sample size to know we need to move on in 49er land.
Meanwhile growing pains, horrible seasons. understanding that the offensive line isn't nearly up to par. all of these other things other teams' qb's get thrown out when they struggle mightily. not for kap?
he had a horrible game. he isn't the 1st and he won't be the last to have a horrible game. but if he has one his job is in jeopardy? after having done much more than any of the aforementioned has for their teams with twice the tenure?

Now we want him to take the easy completions. When he was doing that, I remember a WHOLE lot of complaining.
interesting. And of course they were frustrated. You need everything to work or nothing will work. The line was absolute trash today and in turn so was Kap. The Wr's didn't have to block anyone, they just ran their routes but if there is no protection how is he going to get them the ball?

Kaep just doesn't have what it takes to be an pro bowl QB. His mechanics and pocket presence can NEVER be fixed and that's something that is going to hold him back.

Not gonna lie, I find it baffling you've spent the entire day defending Kap after we got blown out by 40 points today in which Colin was a major factor in. Give you credit for being a fan, but be a 49ers fan, not a Kap fan.

If you criticize John York, you're a fan. Jed York, fan. Baalke, fan. Scott McCloughan, fan. Singletary, Nolan, fan. Harbaugh, fan. Roman, fan. HC, OC, DC, OL, WR, LB, DB, RB, Kwame Harris, Giovanni Carmazzi, John Brodie, Y A Tittle, fan. Alex Smith, you're a fan.
If you criticize Colin Kaepernick, clearly You are no 49er fan.
This comes from people that are Kaepernick fans, not 49er fans. They would put the team ahead of Any individual.
