Kaepernick agrees with you.

"Today was 100-percent my fault. There's nothing anyone in that locker room could've done to change that game today the way I played."

This shows that he's not in denial and can man up. Having said that, his outlook with this team looks bad. I don't see a future here.

Think it really depends on his team mates. He's had two public friends on the team, Crabtree and Patton. MC is now in Oakland and Patton is getting bonehead penalties. What other players support him? I have no idea and hope his OL understands how hard he works and will have his back. I'm waiting for an OL to have his back today but if they stay mute...

Im not defending kap here. He played like s**t, and totally brought my perspective of him into question. But there is no way to know who his friends are in the locker room, or to definitively know what people think of him in the locker room. For all we know they could all be loyal, neutral, or hate his guts.

I think we can tell a lot by the players public comments...who speaks, what they say, etc. Patton made it obvious by standing behind CK during all his locker room pressers last year. If no one comes to his support this week it will be a very bad sign.

Hyde's comments were good because they were factual and non judgemental. But he's a first year starter and I'm waiting for the vets to step up and say something...Staley, Boone, Boldin...and come to think of it, where is motor mouth Boone this year?
I havent heard anything that says that he doesnt have friends though? That was your statement. Im just saying, I think played like garbage, but saying that means he has no friends just seems to have no evidence to support it. What are the players supposed to say? Everyone knows the reason we lost was Kap. What are players supposed to say, he's my quarterback TO style? I dont want that crap. I could care less about what they say. FFS, they shouldnt be worrying about us or the media. They should be focusing on showing up during games.

We will probably lose this week but I just want to see some life, some competition, guys playing hard. I dont want to turn my tv off after friggin 20 minutes cause the game is over and im not trying to completely be pissed all day. I hate the term moral victory, but taking the packers deep in to the 4th quarter would sure as f**k make me feel a lot better.

No, my statement was wondering who his friends are. By friends I mean guys who are in sync with him, who he can talk to about the game. Not talking about going out for a beer. I want to see CK rally the team but he needs trust from his team mates to do that.

When you watch a guy like Joe Staley for years and he says something about the QB it can give you a feeling about how he feels. Boone is more a glad hander. If Staley said something like, "Every QB has a game they would like to forget. We'll get beyond this." that would be fine for me. If he said, "Ask the coaches." ouch!

Then in the off season he should ask for his release he is being set up to be a fall guy playing behind the worst Oline in the league and coached by one of the worst OCs and QB coaches in the league.

So you're saying Kaep owning up to his mistakes was just BS. Deep down, he's blaming the Oline for those picks...?

No the picks are on him but he is being set up to fail.

This. He looked absolute terrible yesterday but the play-calling the last two games has been a complete joke. The o-line is absolutely terrible in pass protection yet they do nothing to counter the pass rush. Was there a single screen pass yesterday?

I'm gonna walk away and leave you 2 to happily agreed.

The point is no one has said this. Again, he has had guys like boldin say "he jsut needs to be himself." and coaches support him. i dont think there is any evidence that would say anybbody in the locker room wont play for him. Would love to hear what people say though.

I am beginning to doubt whether he can actually ever get over the hump though.

Totally missed when you added the quote just a misunderstanding.

Well boldin look frustrated yesterday, clearly. I would have to see Kaep is not one of his favs right now. I've been a back of Kaep for while now. I was one that said its gonna come, he's gonna improve, he's gonna be one of the great QB's. After these past 2 games.....i'm done with that.

I'm hating that the Raiders are getting good light now.

No, my point is that I'm waiting for someone to say this. It would be nice to see some tangible signs that things will get better for Kaepernick and the team. It starts in the locker room. I agree completely that we don't know whether he will get over the hump...but that's the best chance we have this year so...

I don't blame Kap for much of anything going on right now. There is no QB playing right now who could viably operate behind that garbage line.
On that 2nd pick, wow wow wow that was bad.

I hope Johnnydel or THL break down the pick because I just don't understand what Kap was thinking at all
Damn. Is Kap this bad at playing QB in The National Football League?

I believe Dennis Brown said it well...he has so much going on in his mind right now that his decision making is too slow. Trying to remember to do this, not do that, stand this way, look that way...he's very mechanical, which leads to bad passes. Once the first pick six happened he tried to be even more careful and pulled another. From then on he was in a fog...lost.

I think Goff can. Or at least some of the board's most vocal posters believe he can manage the 1.5 second three read passing attack in the NFL.

But drafting an O lineman in the first is just crazy talk.

To me the issue is he is all over the place. One game he looks like a very good game manger Alex smith-Esque. Another he looks like a future all-pro with ice in his veins. Then he looks like Jamarcus effin russell.

Ya, it seems he just went blank that game. He might be having a mild breakdown. It happens, and has happened to a lot of STARTING QBs in this league. There's some very big names that have put up similar numbers.

When the season ends, we'll know.
