Alex was 1-13 on third down in that game,at home!it should've never have come down to Williams.

How was the rest of the team?

The defense had 6 sacks, we rushed for 150+ yards. Carlos Rogers was cooked in the first half. Alex didn't complete one pass to a Wr though. Sound familiar?

Do you remember who our #2 and #3 WRs were that game?
Giants doubled Crabtree

Vernon Davis and Vernon Davis, if memory serves.

Kyle Williams and Brett Swain...

BRETT SWAIN!!!

He also threw 2 TD's, 0 INT's and had a huge run on 4th down in the 4th quarter to bring us into scoring range. How did our running game do that day? Alex carried the offense to 17 points against a D that was choking juggernaut O's all postseason

He also performed better and gave his team a better chance to win against the Giants than Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan and Tom Brady - 2 HOFer's and a potential HOFer - did.

And yes, the QB only is responsible for 3rd downs, because Brett Swain and a concussed Kyle Williams were getting separation like crazy. Did you also forget that we were playing in a monsoon?

Are you really that blinded by bias and hate towards a player or really just that clueless to not understand circumstances outside of a QB, and how crippling multiple 4th quarter/OT muffed punts are?

Unfortunately, just like all 3 seasons 2011-2013, it came down to our offense failing us at the end.
he should sit out next week because the packers are going to embarrass him after all he has done to them.
Not sure if this was posted but I saw it online and it was sort of funny....

Kaepernick had a better QB rating to AZ than SF.

When throwing to SF:
9/19 for 67 yards, 0 TDs and 4 INTs
16.7 Passer Rating

When throwing to AZ:
4/19 for 71 yards, 2 TDs and 9 INTs
38.2 Passer Rating

Kap must be missing his buddy Sherman. I bet he can't wait to hook up with him for a few TD's.

Smith didn't have a better performance than Brady or Rogers, our defense was way better than the Pats and Packers. You watched it, right?
I'm a huge Kap supporter always have been. But I'm even starting to slowly jump off the wagon. I know our O line sucks but don't we have any type of quick passes to counter it? What is he really learning from our new qb coach?

Slowly starting to jump off the bandwagon? Either your on the wagon or your not, no need to cover your backside bro. I speak loud and clear. Kapernick is trash, if I end up being wrong so be it. Serve me crow all night, ill take that beating in order for my favorite team to be something. But Im 100% sure Kapernick will never be anything so im fully comfortable in speaking my mind about how bad i think our QB is.

I cannot WAIT to draft a new QB tho next year if we finish top 2 in draft picks.
"Their passing game was simplified so much, it was easy for us to anticipate routes and get some good breaks on the ball today," Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu said.

you have such a calmer more understanding non extreme demeanor in the Alex Smith thread....but here...lolol
stud when you speak of Kap's performance in the first half versus the Steelers...mentioning 66 yards or what ever but mention missed passes in the Vikings game..

um, why do you ignore those easy catches against the Steelers that our receivers and TE dropped? Passes that could've extended drives that could've lead to more pts and stats. As well as giving our offense an opportunity to get into rhythm.

Alex smith sucks less than Kapernick. but neither are blu chip QB's or good prospects or good QB's etc.

Smith is average. KC should be drafting his replacement year in and year out until they find someone to replace him.

We need to draft a QB tommorrow.

Sorry, no draft tomorrow but if you have a computer, google "NFL Draft 2016" and it will tell you all about the dates.
