Feel bad for my dude Kap the GM hanging him out to dry by not drafting him any play makers. Probably gonna be his last year here hopefully his team can properly surround him with good talent.

I'm guessing that with Torrey Smith, Reggie Bush, Anquan Boldin, V.Davis, Carlos Hyde, Ellington and Patton, Kaepernick is not worried about play-makers.

But if you really think about it, we do have enouff offensive fire works to make it work.. it's just up to Kaep now to make things happen...
The only thing I do worry about now is how our OL will do..

He needs to learn patience and vision...but they all do.

I think guys are looking at winning COMPLETELY wrong. With the addition of Smith, Bush coupled with Hyde and assuming VD is healthy we are great on offense. Football games are won in the trenches not outside the hash marks. That being said, I think we are good on both sides of the ball. Baalke is a Parcells guy and he believed that you can never have enough Dlinemen. Kaep 'weapons' are a healthy oline and a strong run game. I believe we have that. I keep saying we will go 11-5.

We could use a one year rental WR to pair with Boldin/Torrey Smith and Ellington/Simpson whether it's Welker, James Jones etc. So what veteran WR do you see Trent adding before the season??? DeAndre Smelter isn't playing for us this year so we need another WR for this season to beat out Ellington/Patton

no more.. i say no more.. please...
start using Patton in the slot, or move him outside and have Boldin and his quickness take advantage of those LBs in the slot..

"Build your lines first" ....vince Lombardi. And he wasn't kidding. To me it looks as noted above that we have good lines, but OL is still a bit questionable for srarters. I think it is good, but won't know til kickoff. DL I like. As for kap's no really new targets, after the intiial 7-10 picks were gone, i sure didn't see anybody beating out one of our starters at WR. so draftiing WRs late and FA , fine by me.
Then there is the age thing and potential WRs late or uDFAs are fine. Maybe trent hits on one. He sure didn't get a chance to snag a for sure WR starter at #15. And there were only two worthwhile QBs in the draft , so after 1st two picks, i lost interest there. I admit to wishing on burning a pick on Garopolo last yr in 2nd, but that is water under the bridge. This yr i like what i see, but JT is going to be busy making starters out of these guys. Some will hit, you just don't know who. But without JH being here, that makes playcalls better for kap already, and that is huge positive for me/us. Game plan ditto. After half time changes,...ditto. I am fascinated to see how good kap is with a good game plan and great play calls. Kap had many bad outings last yr, that for the most part, I lay at the feet of the gone and departed HaRo. QB whisperer...my azz.
That does mean that kap has to perform this yr and literally carry this team as far as it goes. Last yr he had no chance with a predictable O that was read by virtually everybody we played. Now, this is kap's chance to carry us. Man i hope he does. It's possible Logan, JT, and the OC crap out, but i like them one helluva lot better than HaRo. I won't be surprised if kap looks great this yr just based on playcalls and gameplanning. Last yr it was abysmal and nobody is going to convince me otherwise.

Agree! Going into the season with Boldin, Smith, Simpson, Ellington and Patton with Bush also catching passes looks like a very nice squad to me.

You can state that about Patton but u cant use the same argument for Ellington he was a rookie buried in the depth chart last yr behind Boldin, Craptree, Johnson & Patton but yet when he did get his chance to shine he proved to be effective on offense. Just u watch this yr u will be impressed by his play he will take the next leap forward this yr.

Guys who play football, basketball or baseball at the highest level are tough guys.
