He gets credit certainly, but some people want to give him credit for everything good that happened to this team over the past few years and nothing that was bad. You can't claim that he's this impeachable QB guru when his longest tenured, hand-picked QB...still looks like a project and his greatest QB success was a stud prospect that would have been a good player anywhere.

Just because we're not giving him credit for something he didn't do well doesn't mean he's getting 0 credit.

He brought in a good coaching staff. He helped the niners believe they can win and become a physical team who could compete with any team in the league no matter the circumstances. He did a great job early on with using the talent we had. However when some of that talent left or other teams started to adjust he was too thick headed to adjust.

I'm sure you heard the phrase don't fix it if it's not broken? Well Harbaugh's system was broken but he didn't fix it because in his head it worked before and it will work again.

The guy was lucky to leave when he did. Anyone thinking he would have success with this roster is kidding themselves.

The point is that however much Harbaugh would have helped, Luck was pretty much destined to be a great player, at whatever college he attended. It is why he was the top QB prospect in the country coming out of high school. The whole notion that Harbaugh "created" him is bogus, just as with Fullmer and Manning. Tee Martin looked great under Fullmer, did something that Manning couldn't which was lead the Vols to a national championship. Manning would still have been a great player, whether he was at Maine or Sacramento State.

A top QB but not close to the best QB. Also College football is littered with cant miss QB prospects who failed. I remember Ron Powlus was expected to win two Heisman Trophy's at Notre Dame.

You dont just sit around and be stagnant.. We dont have the right quarterback im not content with him and neither should anyone in our fan base.

But to be honest living in the Bay Area im seeing far more kapernick doubters than believers, as it rightfully should be after last year and this year combined. And to be honest, no rookie QB is gonna do worse than what kapernick has done the last 2 weeks. 60 Yds the 1st half against pitt? Or 4 picks in game #3? Ill take my chances on drafting a new QB and shuvling Kapernick to the side lol
you are speaking about his performance against pitt without looking at the facts that a)we were trying to establish the run all first half long, b)pass pro was non-existing and c)some catchable balls were not caught.
he was solid in this game.

Kap sucked vs pitt i think the only one not looking at the facts is you. Kaepernick put up his "solid" performance in the 2nd half against 2nd stringers and pittsburghs soft prevent Defense. I think u forget our offense got outscored 43-18, and that was with the steelers running the entire 2nd half. But naah your right, Our quarterback was SOLID in this game. lmfao

being emotionally attached to kapernick like some people are really does stop them from listening to logic lmfao
This sucks... I have finally lost all confidence in my Quarterback...

Ahh yes. Ron Pawlus. Being a Domer, I remember those predictions, Beano Cook I believe .
"He's in his fifth year. Some of the mistakes, you just can't make," Cosell said. "There's no other way to say it ... there are certain things you just can't do if you're a veteran quarterback."

Spot on

Facts don't stop you either. The Steelers still had their starters on defense in the game late. They were still sending blitzes and coming after the QB. If they were supposed to be playing vanilla, someone forgot to tell them.

"Kaepernick put up his "solid" performance in the 2nd half against 2nd stringers"

Snap percentages for Pittsburgh's defense

SS Will Allen played 100% of the snaps on defense.

ILB Lawrence Timmons played 100% of the snaps on defense.

CB William Gay played 97% of the snaps on defense.

FS Mike Mitchell played 97% of the snaps on defense

CB Antwan Blake played 84% of the snaps on defense

ILB Ryan Shazier played 82% of the snaps on defense

DE Stephon Tuitt played 81% of the snaps on defense

DE Cam Heyward played 76% of the snaps on defense

I'm so tired of this garbage being spread around like it's true.

First of all the Steelers starters were out there in the 2nd half and were certainly not playing prevent D and came after Kap even harder knowing we had to pass.

But here was the first half breakdown from what Kap did

Drive 1 - 2 for 3 with the drop by Boldin on what should've been an easy first down pickup and possibly more.
Drive 2 - 5 for 6 but after a holding penalty by Pears at the Steelers 10 their screen pass attempts were crushed and they had to settle for a FG
Drive 3 - sacked on only pass attempt on 3rd and 7 play
Drive 4 - goes 2 for 2 and then we fumble the ball away on the Hyde run.
Drive 5 - Goes 2 for 4 with Vernon dropping a 3rd down conversion

He may not have had a lot of yardage or TDs but when your OL doesn't block and your playmakers don't help you out that tends to happen.

Now stop spreading lies when it's obvious you have no idea wtf you're talking about.
If the line by some miracle gives him all the time in the world this Sunday but yet he has another similar type of performance from the past 2 weeks is it time to finally bench his ass? obviously the season is lost if we go 1-3 anyways.

I say shoot might as well so we can make an example out of him N send a message to whatever quitters/mediocre type players we have still on this team. Either you get it together or you are out of here as a starter plain N simple.

No problem, I also left out that he was our leading rusher for the game...

I don't understand how people can watch these games and pretend something totally different happened. All because they can't stand our starting QB. Unreal.

Are you fuking serious? I can understand if you said last week...but he had arguably his best game against Pittsburgh. Don't let facts get in your way or anything.

Is there a potato epidemic going on around where you live?
