Feel bad for my dude Kap the GM hanging him out to dry by not drafting him any play makers. Probably gonna be his last year here hopefully his team can properly surround him with good talent.

Sounds about right...but hey he ain't the only one, we have a lot of those guys around these parts.

I'll never understand a "fan" like that. Never.

Yea I get that but EVERY TEAM has a "worst pass blocker on the team".

Iupati had chemistry with his guys, and now we lost that.

LOL! Yes, recall the chemistry when Staley would turn to him after he screwed up and yell at him? Can't buy that kind of chemistry!

That's one play, every oline has moments like those!

Verb, are you really attempting to argue that the Niners offensive line had "chemistry" last season? Really?

Stop looking at just last season, it'll give you a better perspective!

Iupati is an OG member of this oline, you can't tell me losing him will have no impact whatsoever, that's just downplaying it imo.

the impact will be that they will be better now that he is gone

You're just reaching now, and your shtick is seriously old. At least you could take the time to formulate a logical reason to predict the season is garbage. Your current posts are lazy and redundant. If you're going to troll, at least put some effort into it.

In the long run probably, but there's a lot riding on the fact that Martin/Thomas can fill right in. There's going to be some slight growing pains on the o-line to start there year and they'll need some time to gel.

Agree that there will be some growing pains, especially because there will probably be a new blocking scheme. But keep in mind that both Martin and Thomas were thought of as first or second round prospects, so it's not like they're replacing Iupati with scrubs.

Not really, it happened more than once and the gaps between C and LG were often highways for late blitzes while Iupati stared straight ahead at grass. I will admit they may miss is power in the run game but for Kaepernick's sake I'm glad he's gone. Another thing I noticed with Iupati were the number of times he turned completely around to see where Kaepernick was! Rule number one for OL...stay in front of your guys and slide...prevent him from going the direction he wants to go. You don't turn your back to him to see if your QB is running! I blame Kaepernick for some of that but Staley seemed to be able to keep his position most of the time.

Both Iupati and Boone did a lot of turning around and watching Kaepernick get creamed last season. I swear I must have seen either one of them do that at least 20 times last year.

I was beginning to wonder if they were deliberately sabbotaging the passing game so Roman would call more run plays! LOL!

i had higher hopes for sus and ab,, never thought they would WANT the team to do poorly. just so they can prove something. i guess if we tank they will be happy? all i know is that when i turn out to be right about something negative for the team,,,,I take no pleasure in being proven right. just like roman. I knew he was poison after the super bowl, then it all came true last year. i took no pleasure in being proven right about roman because it hurt the team,, these guys seem to relish bad things and hope for them, soley for the purpose of being proven right about how much trent or jt or whoever sucked. unreal . sus should know that some good posters on here will be right there to stand up and admit they were wrong if things do go south. sad

some will laugh but i really really think this is true , and i laugh when people say he was a huge loss for us. no he was not, in my opinion, I am excited to see the young hungry, healthy kids battle for that spot,, and as long as boone is out, battle for his as well. it will be huge to have kilgore back at center,, now i am sure marcus will improve but right now, to me,, kilgore is the best center on the team and i think he is pretty darn good
