Geez guys can we just stop with that

Verb is ruining this thread already with bs nonsense

Don't blame you for being upset! He's taken your job!
verb is doing his impression of AB

Leave AB out of this, I don't blame him for being mad. I actually think we all should be mad to an extent.

We went from elite to laughing stock just ask anyone outside of NT.

So you mean to tell me you'd rather have your team never make the playoffs unless we're winning it all, every single time!?! hahahahhaa.

That's a spoiled mentality. Don't do it bro!

I'll admit that I would rather make the playoffs but not the Super Bowl if they are to lose...not that it's a choice or under control. Losing that SB still irks me to no end.

Look it happens. Losing the superbowl is a 50/50 chance, the bright side is we enjoyed being ELITE and on the spot light ALLL SEASON until that very last play in the SB. I wouldn't trade 2012 for a 7-9 season, but I bet CC would!

I welcome judgements about my team from supporters of other clubs. Or maybe not.

So how about you guys use the Kaepernick thread for discussing, well, I don't know. How about Kaepernick? And stop b***hing at each other.

Roman was great as the OC the first couple of seasons, then the rest of the NFL figured him out and he was incapable of adjusting to that reality.

As good as we were (2011-2013), we weren't good enough as our flaws were exposed in every one of those postseason losses.

I'm irritated how everything went down with the coaching staff overhaul. I would have loved it if the old D-staff were still here, but am cautiously optimistic that this coaching staff can live up to and surpass (offensively speaking) the previous regime.

I remember that no one expected the 49ers to reach the playoffs, let alone the NFC title game, in 2011 and we did.

It turned out we had a good roster that needed equally good coaching. I have faith that the 2015 49ers, coaches and players, have the same ability to shock their detractors.

Hard work pays off. This is why Kaep will succeed. And for guys like Florio to say spin this into something negative is typical.

Looking forward to this man leading our team to #6.

I love what I am hearing from 49ers players about Kaepernick this off-season, and believe he is capable of becoming the guy we expect a 49ers QB to be.

This team in 2015 (and beyond) goes as far as he can take us, which may end up being playing at home in February.
this article says alot about what CK was focused on in Arizona and what he thinks will show up this season... http://49rs.co/IKNfnP

Pretty exciting stuff!

"When I saw him yesterday," Davis began, "I didn't even know that was Colin. Seriously, he was working on his drop-back, (I said), 'Who was that?' You guys are in for a treat. He looks like a totally different guy."

Kaepernick, for his part, said his focus was on improving and that being resistant to change, even with his throwing motion, was not an option this offseason.

"You have to be able to change and adapt to be the best player you can be," he said. "I just want to do everything I can to get better, and do what I can to help this team win."

"I feel like there has been quite a bit of change," the quarterback said of his mechanics. "Obviously, it's noticeable. Vernon said something to me right away when we started throwing."

Good to read! Thanks for posting. I'm enthused about the team as always and perhaps a bit more because I like Logan so much.

I think losing Delanie REALLY hurt. We ran lot of 22 personnel groupings which is really hard to defend with 2 TEs that run 4.48 and 4.38 in what's supposed to be a run package. . You add the threat of Kaep running as well, coupled with threat of Moss outside and it was a 'pick your poison' offense even though Moss wasn't the deep threat he had been.

i never thought i would say this about walker,,,,,,, but you said nothing wrong in regards to walker

I think they have been trying to replace him every since he left and have continually failed. He's unique in that he's stout enough to run block yet can fly.

This is why its so disapointing to hear Niners fans talk crap about Kaepernick. He might have gone through some growing pains last year, but he works as hard as any pro athlete. When a guy admits he needs to work on his game, and goes 120% all offseason to improve, the fans should give respect.

True. I don't know that I've ever seen a QB work harder.
If he can get mentally quicker on the read and where to go with the ball, that would help him a lot on just concentrating on making a good throw when he's already sure where to throw.

I think that will come with experience in the system. A lot of his problems with interceptions and missed throws are mechanical where he was not setting his feet.
