Makes me wonder if Chryst wanted Kaep to tweak his throwing mechanics to be more "Pro Ball" style all along. Remember, Harbaugh was pretty straightforward in stating publicly that Kaep's long delivery wasn't something he'd change when Kaep was drafted.

Obviously fixing his footwork and body positioning is a higher priority, but I wouldn't be surprised to see his delivery shortened up a bit.

Agreed. He already has a canon. If he could get the pass off quicker, I don't know how defenders could react that fast. That is a big if at this point, but I am hopeful.
I hope Tomsula plays Kap a lot more in preseason than Harbaugh did. He needs all the reps he can get

Harbaugh was against changing his throwing motion. He said if thats how you've been throwing your whole life why change it.

That will depend upon how the second string Oline performs. If they suck like in years past, then Kap will get pulled when the 1st string Oline gets pulled. No HC wants to play their 1st string Oline very long in preseason games.

I have no idea how he could play less than last year, so I agree he will play more. However, I doubt that it is all that significant, Game 2 he may go to half time which would be a lot more but outside of that not going to see too much in preseason.

Not in preseason he doesn't.

This is why its so disapointing to hear Niners fans talk crap about Kaepernick. He might have gone through some growing pains last year, but he works as hard as any pro athlete. When a guy admits he needs to work on his game, and goes 120% all offseason to improve, the fans should give respect.

True. I don't know that I've ever seen a QB work harder.

Even if he was horrible, which he wasnt, hes put so much work in this offseason you have to get behind him. Its the guys who dont give a crap, like Michael Crabtree, that piss me off.

Kap took an insanely team friendly deal that essentially gives him no security, and he busts his butt every offseason. He was in the weight room training for 2013 like 2 days after we lost the Super Bowl.

Hate having one designated thread for Kap.. Makes this thread a cluster of just nonsense and ramblings of this and that.. Better when we have multiple threads on different things about the quarterback rather than, HEY FOLKS throw all your junk about this guy in here....

But then, do it your way and the zone is just littered with hundreds of threads about slightly different aspects of the same player.

Should have a Kaepernick section in the forums, under which you could post about specifics.....

I feel really bad for Kaep, all you guys have to do is place yourselves in his shoes...

If Kurt Warner suddenly told you that you pretty much wasted 3 years of your career because you haven't learned much about pocket passing, and then all of a sudden that QB coach (who hasnt taught you s**t) is promoted to be your offensive coordinator, what kind of confidence are you going to have going into the season?

My nephew said it from the start, Kaep feels like he's f**ked.

How do you know what Kurt Warner told Kaepernick?

Please provide a link to the source where Warner told Kaepernick that he had "pretty much wasted 3 years" of his career.

You just can not stop putting your opinions in other people's mouths.

At this point, it seems that you are just making up outrageous lies in hopes of pissing people off.

Here's a video of the interview with the players and coach. See for yourselves if it looks like CK is in the tank about playing for this coach and team...
