I'm hoping Bush can fill that Delanie Walker role (minus the blocking, I guess). I think he's suited to play wing back. If VD makes a comeback, Bush could have a massive year running underneath routes with VD getting those LBs to drop back.

The article on the home page is a great read. It's about Kaepernick building a rapport with Bush. Balkke talks about using him on third downs for Kaepernick to pass it to him coming out of the back-field.

I've got a feeling that we are going to see a completely different Kaepernick.

Well what did you expect Baalke to say?????????

its a positive article,, how did that get through the webzone gestapo that controls the gate so this kind of positive news can not get in ?
cant believe JH couldn't instal a pass play that had the RB as the primary receiver
not sure what to do when i see bush or hyde or whoever catch a nice little pass and run for a big gain. is it possible that type of a formation or play could be more successful than lining up bruce miller at the top of your tv screen?

Deep to Bruce is a play I NEVER want to see again, EVER!
after Roman was fired, I traded out his poster for a picture of your mom.. lol
Balkke also said Patton was looking good, but of course, "what did we expect him to say".....lol

hah! Pretty much the only player/coach that this, "what's he supposed to say?", question can't be applied to is Vic Fangio. He was as straight shooter as you could get. Calling out players for bad performances or not knowing the playbook. Refreshing perspective, but could rub people the wrong way. Everything else is footballitical correctness.

I don't think Bush would have signed on unless he knew he'd be integrated into the offense as a pass catching back. The signing itself speaks volumes and I'm glad Kap and Bush are syncing up. It's important to hit Bush in stride to let him do his thing in the open field. Those passes must be accurate in order for Bush to maintain his speed during and after the catch.

I expected him to say that we will win the Super Bowl. That Colin will be a pro-bowler and that we will dominate.
Yeah, Thl, that was exactly why I thot we drafted La Michael James. And you know where that went. Different crew at the helm ,now, fortunately,

i also think it is very telling we signed a free agent and drafted a kid who both do a great job of catching out of the backfield.... i think hyde and kendall can do that as well though i have not seen them do it that much so far in their niner career. i am sure, even if they will never admit it,,, the front office and the new coaches are saying to themselves ......" self why in the world did they never never use a screen pass out of the backfield?"

he did?,, i must have missed it.. sorry,, we NEVER did it unless it was a busted play. in the saints playoff game gore caught a couple out of the backfield on the last drive but that was when we were in desperate mode.

Even just using the running back to catch out of the backfield to slow down or stop the blitz would make me very happy.
