The Phantom Sack!!! Crissy Everrett!!

Heck, Dan Marino in Super Bowl 18 felt the foot steps of Dwaine Board - Manu Tuiasosopo - Big Hands Johnson and Fred Dean all thru the 2nd half of that game.. he began throwing in spots all of a sudden..

they even had him on a Rolling Pass Plays a couple of times..

Only people in 49er homers and Patriot homers would argue otherwise.

Flawed logic. To compare does not make equal. You can compare your old Ford with a Ferrari and by your logic that would make them equal.

Brady is a excellent qb. But not the best ever.

Flawed analogy, the majority are comparing these two and these two only.

So? Comparing your Ford with a Ferrari is comparing these two and these two only.

Your point was that just by the fact that people are making the comparison makes them equal. That was exactly what you said. But it is incorrect. Ferrari.

His legacy has been secure since the day he hung it up and always will be.

On the flip side, there are a lot of people here that claim that Montana is the best ever, and that there is no debate. That's fine, and that's an opinion. But a bunch of 49ers fans agreeing with each other doesn't make it anymore true.

If you go over to PatsFans.com, you will find basically the complete opposite argument:
http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/it-is-now-time-for-the-brady-goat-case.1116333/page-3

95% of the responses either say, "at worst, they're equal" or "Brady is clearly better". I'm with verb1der -- outside of 49ers/Patriots fans (which clearly have personal stake in it), the debate is wide open.

With personal feeling aside and all, I would think as a Moderator you would welcome an open debate......

You can go to any sports bar in America and have a pretty legit debate regarding Brady vs Montana. Whereas people will probably think you're crazy if you tried to compare a Ford to a Ferrari. C'mon English, I thought you're better than that!
Can't wait for Brady's suspension to be rescinded.
The pats welcome the suspension so they can take garropolo out for a test drive without igniting bradys ego.

The only people arguing about brady montana never saw montana play. Theres no discussion.

Point taken, but Young did throw for 4000 yards twice and one year was really close

Correct! Steve Young '93: 4023; '94: 3969; '98: 4170

Two more seasons to throw out there are Joe's 1982 seasons and Steve's 1995. In both years, they averages 290+ yards per game. That's a 4600 yard season if projected out. 1982 was the strike year so there was only 9 games and in 1995 Steve had the shoulder injury and missed 5 games but we know with trestman as OC he would have got the passing attempts to get those yards.

I can't wait until the 49ers win another Super Bowl. It is more probable than not Brady cheated just as every player has in some way shape form or fashion. His problem is he cheated lied to launch a formal probing covered it up then wasn't fully cooperative with the investigation. There is precedent that when this happens Goodell reacts negatively. Public outcry surely played a part in this as we saw last year with Aldon Smith. Brady will probably get some reduction in games missed but he will miss a couple UNLESS he can produce the evidence he couldn't initially to make it more probable than not he had no hand in this.

When you see the video surveillance of the football after having been cleared by the officials being taken from them and into a restroom for a specific period of time and then made their way to the field of play thereafter this in and of itself is a clear rules violation. Who told the ball boy to do this? Did he take it upon himself to alter NE footballs? Is it more likely he acted alone or at the behest of his QB? Any level headed observer can see the rules violation on camera but then they have to consider the texting by the offender and the position of the offender and who the offender really works for and one can conclude that it is more probable than not this guy was not acting on his own but under the understanding he had with his QB that he referenced in his text messaging. It is now up to Brady to clear his name in the appeals process by providing evidence in which one can conclude it was more probable than not he had no hand in this.

You can't wait on this being rescinded and that is fine but I've waited more than 20 seasons for this team to win another Lombardi and the pundits tell me that it is more probable than not we won't but I can't wait to prove them wrong. I hope one of us can exhale in the near future

There are six quarterbacks that have played in more than one Super Bowl and have perfect records in those games.

Terry Bradshaw----4-0
Joe Montana--------4-0
Troy Aikman---------3-0
Bart Starr-------------2-0
Jim Plunkett---------2-0
Eli Manning----------2-0

Excellent I totally forgot S. Young missed that many games, that was the year I branded the year of the receiver there were so many receivers that year that had career years, J. Rice 1848, I. Bruce 1781, H. Moore 1686, M.Irvin 1603, R. Brooks 1497 and B. Perriman 1488 such a fun year. I was too young for the 82 season but my dad told me all about it, needless to say he wasn't very happy lol He's a huge Montana fan and from time to time he brings that season up adding that Montana could of had one of the greatest years for a QB
