I'm a the point where I hate debating eras. Personally I'm of the opinion that the pre cap era (and even really early in the cap era) featured a better brand of ball with juggernaut teams.

In the end, nothing that Brady or the pats do takes away from the greatness of our 81-98 run. I give the pats credit for their tremendous run but I really don't think any of their teams are in the class of great dynasty teams from the 60s thru let's say 95. 1996 has always been my cap era marker (I believe 93 or 94 was the first year) But 1996 featured a league where 2 expansion teams in their second year of existence made conference title games.

I don't think we will ever see another Patriots run whenever it ends. To me it's the most impressive sustained success in professional sports history not just the NFL. Like them or don't like them you have respect what Bellichick and Brady have done as HC/GM and QB.

1 win away from him being the unquestioned goat. Think about it only 3 times in history would a team won 3 out of 4 SB's. Brady would be apart of 2 of them. It's almost a double dynasty.

Yea its crazy. But, obviously the evolution of the rules are a part of that. No denying Brady is a top notch QB. Never been an argument.
